The Young Starr Movement, INC. is a non-profit organization created to support, educate, empower and create awareness towards victims of domestic violence abuse.
In addition, The Young Starr Movement offers programs to aid and bring awareness and support towards homelessness, youth and individuals who are in crisis and lack the necessary resources to effectively combat the negative effects both physical and psychological.
The Young Starr Movement has created a community support system, where victims have the opportunity to overcome their challenges and rebuild their lives by providing coping solutions, resources and life skills training.
Founder and President of Young Starr Movement, INC., Dj.Young Starr from New York City has inspired hope and strategic action. She is an advocate, motivational speaker, music programmer and has a personal story of perseverance, and prevail. Unlike any other domestic violence advocacy organization, Young Starr Movement, INC. provides music therapy in a loving spiritual atmosphere.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is improve the lives of people affected by domestic violence abuse. The Young Starr Movement, fights for more than 38 million women who have experienced either physical domestic abuse, financial abuse, emotional abuse or a combination of all three. There can be and should be life after a physical or emotional crisis for more people.
Our mission is to educate, empower, support and give necessary resources to rebuild and change lives.The Young Starr Movement provides direct services and life skills training to anyone affected by domestic violence abuse; and community crisis intervention. Our innovative programs and life skills training are aimed at reversing the negative effects of silence and violence affecting thousands of people in our communities.
We are committed to the recovery of women and people of all backgrounds and ages through empowerment, stability, and self-fulfillment.

Our vision through our programs, life skills training, events, and resources we provide collectively as a community is to help inspire, empower and provide positive self esteem, love and compassion.
Our belief is that all women, children and people in crisis have tremendous resiliency and are able to realize their human potential through our recovery programs that are providing knowledge, love, structure and empowerment in a spiritual loving atmosphere.
Our vision is to bring unity, participation and fellowship within our community to broaden the horizons of disadvantaged people.
