Giant community we need help transporting a dog from the Memphis Tenn area to the Dallas Texas area!!!

We are also desperate for fosters for multiple dogs in the mid west. We are about to take in a large quantity and need to get foster and adoptive homes lined up!!

Great news!! Salem has been officially adopted!

Legend update!!! Remember our pitiful guy that was in the Memphis shelter that so many of you graciously donated too?

We are happy to share an update and he is doing amazing!!! His foster mom Callie has worked miracles with this boy and has prepared him for his forever home. He is believed to be 6-8 yrs old and is just magnificent!!!

He is now available for adoption!!! If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application on our website!

Hello Dallas/Ft Worth area. We need to get Salem a new home or a foster ASAP. He's two years old (July 2022), neutered, loves dogs and people, not suitable for small children.

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTERS NEEDED NEAR AKRON, OHIO!!! HTZ is in need of URGENT fosters near Akron Ohio to help with adult females and males. We are down to our last 3 mill mama’s and dads but need more help. If you or anyone you know can help please fill out an application on our website and message Ashley Sandford Menfee ASAP. The dogs need moved this weekend. We cannot place them into homes with children under 10 and no giants of the same s*x. We have had so many mill dogs come into rescue that we are short on qualified applicants. If you can help and be in Akron this weekend to help please follow the above instructions. Thanks!!!

Thank you to everyone who has graciously donated to our fundraiser for our mill mama's. We greatly appreciate everyone's support. Getting all of the dogs we took in healthy was a huge undertaking both physically and financially.

All of the Texas dogs have been placed with an adopter or a foster to adopt at this time.

We have a second mill situation in Ohio up by the PA border that we are currently working on. We do need homes in this area immediately. If you can help, please ensure you have an application on file with us and then message Ashley Sandford Menfee.

I know I have a ton of messages that I have not yet been able to respond to, but I will get back to everyone when time permits. I have been inundated with the amount of dogs we have helped in the last few weeks spending 15-18 hours a day dedicated to rescue. So please understand, I am not ignoring you, I am a volunteer who is trying to keep up as best as I can.

We can still use more donations to over the massive vet bills of all of the puppies and dogs we took in. You can still donate to the current fundraiser or directly on our website.
