Loving Friends Transport

Saving animals We transport animals from natural and man made disasters. We are part of the Bay Area Disaster Animal Response Team.

We also aid shelters in transferring animals from high kill shelters to shelters with high adoption percentages. We have transported animals from Hurricanes, Puppy Mills, Hoarding Cases and overcrowded shelters all over the United States. In 2011 we transported 935 dogs and cats plus 6 Bengal Tigers to various shelters and sanctuaries.

Any Blue Lacey dog rescues out there? Calcasieu Parish Animal Shelter in Lake Charles, LA has a 2yr old male Blue Lacey mix. He is super sweet but doesn’t have much chance at being adopted there. His time is almost up.

CURTIS IS SAFE! ❤️

Any rescues or shelters able to take this 1yr old Catahoula mix boy? Or a possible foster with a fenced yard near Lake Charles, LA? He is very sweet, on the shy side, hw- and weighs 45 lbs. He shakes on command but does need some help learning how to walk on a leash. His time was up today but I asked for a few more days to try and save him.

Almost done with a 3,800 mile round trip journey to relocate 6 monkeys to a sanctuary in south Texas. These boys will all stay together at the sanctuary and will have plenty of space to jump, swing and play.

SOLD!

We have had a ton of interest in our rescue rig for sale. Please know if you are an animal rescue or shelter you will be given priority on purchasing the rig so it can continue to save lives like it was built to do. If you are inquiring about the rig to haul cars, re-sell it for a profit or use it for any other reason than to save animals’ lives then you will not be given priority on purchasing it. With that said I have sent out the build files to everyone that has requested them. If for some reason you did not receive them please let me know via PM and I will re-send.

SALE PENDING

RESCUE TRAILER FOR SALE
(Priority will be given to other animal rescues for purchase)

We have decided to sell our large transport trailer. It is a 40 foot gooseneck Haulmark trailer. We are also selling the big rig (Toterhome) but it does not need to be a package deal. Blueprints for the custom built trailer along with the spec sheet are available, just send me a PM. The trailer has it’s own generator, compressor, two A/C units along with two fantastic brand fans for ventilation. It also has cameras for viewing the animals and a temperature monitoring system. We just replaced the awning on the trailer about a year ago and two years ago we completely gutted the floor of the trailer and replaced all of the flooring with new material. We then had the floor rhino coated to withstand any moisture. The trailer can comfortably house 76 crates of various sizes on a rack system with more being put in the isle if needed. The typical load per trip was between 80-130 dogs depending on litters of puppies sharing a crate. We have had as many as 253 on board during a puppy mill response. The trailer can also be utilized to carry large animals such as lions and tigers.
It hurts my heart to sell this equipment but honestly it was built to rescue animals and it needs to be out there doing what it was intended to do. LFT is not going away though, on the contrary I have been busier than ever these last few years rescuing animals in my smaller rescue vehicle. If you need more information, pictures or prices please send me a private message.

Aiden

Age: 10 months

Gender: Male

Breed: Labrador Retriever Blend

Weight: 45 lbs.

Status: Ready For Adoption

Update: October 14 2021

Check out this handsome, athletic boy! Aiden is a young, healthy, full of life, energetic pup that loves to play and run. His social manners with other dogs have improved; he interacts well with his foster fur brother and the neighbors’ young Rhodesian Ridgeback. He really enjoys playing with his new-found friends and is still learning when they’ve had enough of his antics. He may get his feeling hurt a bit, but it’s short-lived.

Recently, Aiden and his foster parents took a long drive to meet with a professional trainer. This was Aiden’s first long car ride, and he stood up the whole way because he was so excited! His foster dad reports that Aiden did well walking on leash and when he saw other dogs.

A warm, loving and affection dog, he enjoys being with his humans. But he’s also has a taste for adventure and delights in his time roaming, romping and sunbathing in the yard. He loves playing with his toys and leaping on to the couch to take his favorite spot where he can look out the window and watch the world. “He’s very adorable when he is running around the yard and he looks so cute and content laying on the couch,” says he devoted foster dad.

Aiden is no Michael Phelps. He runs into the house when his foster family gets in the pool – just in case they have ideas about having him take a swim! He is, however, good taking a bath and enjoys being brushed and petted.

This young guy is also polite, he sits and waits for his food, walks well on a leash, doesn’t counter surf, gets along with cats and rarely barks. He’s crate-trained but trusted by his foster family enough that the door is left open so he can enjoy roaming around the house.

Aiden will make some lucky family a wonderful best friend. He would be best matched with a family who has older, more mature children (ten or older) who know how to treat and respect dogs. “He’s a sweet dog that mellows out fast – a real keeper,” proclaims his foster dad. Aiden is dreaming of his new home, with a yard to play in and a loving family to snuggle and cuddle with forever and always – won’t you make his dreams come true?

Yes, even the monkeys of the world need to be transported once in a while. Malakiah and I traveled from Indianapolis to south Texas to his forever home at Born Free. He loved playing peekaboo with his blanket and wore it like a cape at times. Funny little monkey!
