I can help you reach your body, health and fitness goals! Contact me for info (Nutritionist BSc, MSc)
This is your Monday morning reminder that no matter what you did, ate or drank over the weekend, your body still deserves big nourishing meals today!
My Friday night dish π€
Fresh Ravioli Pasta
Spinach
Sundried Tomatoes
Feta Cheese
Lashings of Olive Oil
I'm a big believer in not restricting yourself. If you want something sweet, you may just need something sweet! But I also believe snacking (most of the time π) is a great opportunity for extra nourishment.
Sooo this is today's concoction...
Greek yoghurt
Little packet of mixed nut, seeds, fruit, coconutty goodness
Grated Whittakers chocolate
Now to hide the chocolate from fridge lurkers so it doesn't disappear before the next hankering π
Sometimes you've got to go out and find the beauty π
Ran out of my favourite breakfast smoothie ingredients so literally threw a bunch of stuff in a container on my way out of the door this morning...I think it went well π
1/3 cup oats
3 tbsp Greek yoghurt
Dash of milk
Handful Berries
1 tbsp flaxseeds
4 chopped dates
1 banana
Spattering of peanut butter
Try it? X
Girls weekend π
So lucky to be able to spend time with these beautiful like minded humans. Beach, hikes, big feeds and a spot of shopping. Feeling the summer vibes already π
When I'm looking for something nutritious and delicious on a menu I'm usually disappointed with the lack of...well...stuff in the "healthier" dishes.
So I just ask for additional...stuff! Because I'm not for eating just a bowl of broccoli for dinner π
Extra halloumi, extra edamame beans, extra chicken, extra eggs, extra roast veggies etc. Nutritious eating means MORE nutrients not LESS food
It's a good job I don't eat out very often π°π€£
Setting up the new office so soon you'll be able to come to see me again! Watch this space! I'll soon be offering in person as well as my usual online consults π βΊ

DediKate Reset A 5 week nutrition program to reset and refocus on healthy eating.
Started the long weekend off with a nice long walk in the forest listening to my favourite nutrition podcast. Followed by a steak and salad wrap for lunch π
Have a great weekend!
Do what you love! πΆββοΈπ§
I have been slack with taking my omega 3 fish oil recently...and I mean slack!
I bought expensive, high quality nordic fish oil and let it go out of date hidden in the fridge...twice! π€¦ββοΈ
4 weeks ago I decided to buy cheaper, average fish oil capsules I can keep on the kitchen bench in plain sight π Why? Because I'm not wasting anymore money before I reformulate a healthy daily habit. So far so good π it's not every day but its definitely better!
Consistency OVER Perfection!
Help a habit and a habit will help you π
Chicken soup for the soul. Like a hug in a bowl π₯£
If you have a busy week chucking a soup in the slow cooker gives you a ready to go healthy lunch for every work day π
Fresh Kingfish we caught this morning π£ with homemade chips and salad.
When it comes to fish and chips this is actually the real deal!
Putting together a healthy lunch can be as easy or as complicated as you have time for...or can be bothered with π
Lunch today consisted of a mix of leftovers and absolutely no planning...
Leftovers
πΈοΈPasta from spag bol
πΈοΈSweetcorn from homemade pizzas
πΈοΈGrated cheese from fajitas
Additional Ingredients
πΈοΈTinned tuna
πΈοΈSpinach leaves
πΈοΈMayo
Keeping leftovers is cost AND time effective. I find it opens up new possibilities for handy lunches.
Just try to incorporate vegetables and a protein source to keep you satisfied longer.
I love combining sweet and savoury foods! Especially this thick homemade honey given to me by one of my clients. Thankyou! π
Cottage cheese and honey on wholegrain toast is amazing!
Other favorite combinations include...
Banana and peanut butter
Apple and cottage cheese
Grapes and cheese
Including sweet foods as part of a healthy snack or meal when you feel like them can help to train you out of the guilty feelings some of you have around 'sugary' foods. It can also reduce sugar cravings if you have been trying to cut down on sweet treats.
If you haven't already, try it! π
Next 8 Week Bootcamp Starts Tomorrow!

In my happy place! Camping π
Vegetable Omelette for breakfast π
Next on the agenda, a little bush tramp to a waterfall. Enjoy your Sunday!
