Stromanthe sanguinea ‘ Tricolor’
For the larger tropical garden, this multi-colored Stromanthe makes a wonderful ground cover in shady areas. It adds a splash of color in darker areas under trees. It will tolerate a little filtered sun, but not a lot, otherwise the leaves will burn. It will generally grow to about 30-40cm high but might grow larger under very heavy shade. It needs to be kept moist but not waterlogged.
