Its been such a sick year .

My first solo EP in 8 years released on Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz

I didn't stop there and released another EP with The WiddFam

I had two tracks on compilations from Monsters

I was delighted to have a track on SmallPrint Recordings latest compilation

And a sick collaboration with Serpent Eyes on LDH Records

On top of the that, being a regular at Loop Sessions 's LDN branch, doing in person sample flips and playing their day party. Ive also been going to beat makers meet ups in London meeting talented producers.

Then I see you lot have streamed my tunes so much on Spotify! That's just the icing on the cake!

It's fair to say that this is the most active i've been with my music in 15+ years!

2024 should be pretty exciting too with the new alias as well as me finishing a LOAD of old Legend4ry bits.

I've been working quietly over the last year or so working and figured out a new kind of sound for myself. After writing about 12 tracks, I decided that I should put it under a new name.

You might have heard the name 'Chris Guillotine' being featured and played on radio and wondered, who that? I was keeping it separate till I knew this is the direction I wanted to take!

I'm now confident and excited to push further in this style, with this new name!

I published the first mix today - give it a listen to hear some fresh dubs from not only myself but some friends who are making sick tunes in a similar vibe.

If you're familiar with all my past releases, I like an almost melancholic approach to my closing tracks! This one delivers!

It spawned from me shoving my microphone out of my window on a particularly exciting rain storm and sitting up all night playing around with the piano listening to the recording! Thats right, you're hearing authentic South London rain!

Ever thankful to The Widdler for hearing a random demo idea I had for a guitar line and throwing together some awesome midwest emo-esque scratch tracks for me to play around with!

It's been a long time coming and I have to admit, I lied to you all.. I said i'll have a release out in 2022 but here we are in 2023 and I got to say, better late than never.

I bring you my first solo release in 8(!!!) years.

It comes with incredible sadness to hear about the passing of my dear friend Jake '8oz' Boz

We first became friendly online from mutual love for jazzy, musical bass music, you being a fan of my old weekly radio show.

We met in the person for the first time during a random work trip I had to your home city and our personalities matched in a way where it was like we'd been friends for years.

You booked me for the first gig I played in the Midlands and introduced me to the city of Leicester, a place I fell in love with after my various trips playing more gigs for you. A place I still think about calling home, probably due to your love and passion you showed me for your city.

We decided to put out my 'I Never Expected To Be Lost' EP on your fantastic Might As Well imprint, signing 5 tracks I still feel are some of the highlights to my discography. Despite being a small local label - you booked me a local radio interview/mixt, did a video interview & threw me a launch party all in the same weekend! You did things properly, always. Because of that work. We hit #1 on the Juno Charts, another highlight of my music career.

Throughout the years, we became closer as friends outside of music, keeping in touch & being there for eachother during moments of good & bad all while sharing our love for live music, going to monumental gigs together and sharing many drinks & happy memories.

We may not have seen each other often due to living in different parts of the country but when we did - it was always memorable.

It cannot be explained how deeply I will miss Jake. He had a massive impact on me as a person & as an artist.

You belived in my music and bought me many of my musical highlights but the most true, genuine highlight of my life is having met you.

I hope you're resting well, brother.
