As you guys know I’ve been working extremely hard behind the scenes for my business to develop / I’ve been working 7 days a week, long hours and seeing I’ve managed to get placed 5th in the UK for “Hair Entrepreneur of The Year” is the best thing I could of asked for and makes this journey of having my own business worth it 🏆

From being placed as a finalist/placed 4th for “Hairstylist of The Year” in the South West, to now being placed as 5th in the UK for “Hair Entrepreneur of the Year” is the best thing to come out of this year so far 🫶🏼

This new lady came in wanting to brighten up her hair.

She was told this was as blonde as she could go, as explained to her in the consultation she needed finer foils and a lot of them to give her a brighter feel.

Low and slow is the best way to gradually lift from dark box dyes.
This has been a process of gradually going lighter.

She explained she didn’t want to be blonde but creating something to make her look sunkissed without too much regrowth -

Black box dye can look scary too try get rid of but it's all about knowing how to tackle it -

It's always depending on how the hair lifts, how long ago a customers dyed their hair and how porous the hair is feeling, is it ok to lift with bleach?

Yes, as long as it's not lifted with to high of a developer. Lifting with a low percentage developer so it's safer for the hair, if you lift too quickly the hair can snap putting it at risk of becoming dry/drier and creating breakage.

This is stage 1 of working our way towards a lighter hair colour, starting off with a soft brown balayage 🫶🏻

Soooo I am finally finished for 2023 and I'm soooo excited to welcome 2024 in the next week🤞🏼

I just want to thank each and every one of you for supporting my small business and making this job so enjoyable for me. I don't know what I'd do without you all.

To be able to build relationships with you guys is something that I feel extremely lucky to have and I couldn't thank you all enough. To have the luxury of going to work and not feeling like it's work is amazing 🤍

So I thought I'd keep continuing improving this journey that I'm on in the hair industry and apply for not 1 category, but 6 in total for The UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2024 -

The last 2 years I've become a finalist for "Hair Stylist of the Year" and last year finally got into the Top 10 in this category which felt amazing -

This year I thought I'd top it off and appy for 6 different categories and have managed to become a finalist for all 6, meaning that I will be attending the red carpet event next year!
