Advanced personal development and insights for breakthrough life purpose
📖 My first book that got me started on self-development was...
👉 It is the book "How to win friends and influence people"
In order to pay it forward I've created this one-page recap.
👉Fundamental Techniques in Handling People
Don't criticize, condemn, or complain. Carnegie argues that criticism is futile because it puts a person on the defensive and usually makes them strive to justify themselves.
Give honest and sincere appreciation. Appreciation, as opposed to flattery, must be genuine and is key to influencing others positively.
Arouse in the other person an eager want. Understand what the other person wants and show them how to get it.
👉Six Ways to Make People Like You
Become genuinely interested in other people. Showing a sincere interest in others wins friends.
Smile. A simple smile can make a big difference in all of our relationships.
Remember that a person's name is, to that person, the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
Talk in terms of the other person's interests.
Make the other person feel important – and do it sincerely.
👉How to Win People to Your Way of Thinking
The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.
Show respect for the other person's opinions. Never say, 'You're wrong.'
If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.
Begin in a friendly way.
Get the other person saying 'yes, yes' immediately.
Let the other person do a great deal of the talking.
Let the other person feel that the idea is theirs.
Try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view.
Be sympathetic with the other person's ideas and desires.
Appeal to the nobler motives.
Dramatize your ideas.
Throw down a challenge.
👉Be a Leader: How to Change People Without Giving Offense or Arousing Resentment
Begin with praise and honest appreciation.
Call attention to people's mistakes indirectly.
Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.
Ask questions instead of giving direct orders.
Let the other person save face.
Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement.
Give the other person a fine reputation to live up to.
Use encouragement. Make the fault seem easy to correct.
Make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest.
If you want a pdf version of this let me know. 🥰

If there is one thing that is constant that is change.
The last few years employees and what they look for has changed.
So, are you as a leader, CEO founder in touch with the times?
The workplace of 2024 isn’t 2020 anymore.
In just a few years, the landscape of work shifted 💯.
👥 Employees then: 9 to 5, office-bound, fixed roles.

This evolution isn't just about where they work.
It's also about how they think, interact, and grow.
Their values, behaviors, and expectation, everything is up for grabs
Leaders, here's how to adapt:

To thrive in this new era, your ability to adapt is key.

"Releasing your inner warrior" is a metaphorical expression.
It generally refers to the process of tapping into your inner strength, courage, and resilience to overcome challenges and pursue your goals.
Here are some key aspects of this concept:
1️⃣ Courage and Bravery: Embracing your inner warrior means being brave in the face of adversity. This could involve taking risks, stepping out of your comfort zone, or standing up for what you believe in.
2️⃣ Resilience and Perseverance: It's about not giving up when faced with obstacles or setbacks. The "warrior" mentality involves a kind of tenacity and determination to keep going despite difficulties.
3️⃣ Self-Discipline: Warriors are often associated with discipline. This can mean being disciplined in your habits, thoughts, and actions to achieve your goals.
4️⃣ Strength and Confidence: This refers to both physical and mental strength. It's about building inner confidence and believing in your abilities to tackle challenges.
5️⃣ Focus and Dedication: Warriors are typically focused on their goals and dedicated to their cause. Releasing your inner warrior can mean finding a clear purpose or goal and dedicating yourself to it wholeheartedly.
6️⃣ Honor and Integrity: Often, the warrior ethos includes a sense of honor and integrity, meaning you act in alignment with your values and principles, even when it's challenging.
Transformation and Growth: Embracing the warrior within can be a transformative experience, leading to personal growth and development.
It's important to note that this concept is metaphorical and should not be interpreted as promoting aggression or violence.
Instead, it's about harnessing qualities typically associated with a warrior - like strength, courage, and resilience - in a positive and constructive way in your personal and professional life.

"Master Your Mindset: The Key to Unlocking Your Full Potential"
Have you ever wondered why some people seem to achieve their dreams effortlessly, while others struggle to make progress despite their best efforts?
The answer, lies in the power of the cultivated mindset.
Mindset refers to your beliefs, attitudes, and perspectives about yourself and the world around you. It shapes the way you interpret and respond to events, determines your actions and behaviors, and ultimately determines your level of success and fulfillment in life.
The good news is that mindset is not fixed or predetermined - it can be changed and developed over time with the right strategies and practices. However, the brain can often make this process challenging by avoiding pain and discomfort. The brain is wired to avoid pain, which means that when we encounter challenging or uncomfortable situations, our brain may try to convince us to avoid them or give up.
"So how can we overcome the brain's natural tendency to avoid pain and develop a mindset that empowers us to transform our lives?"
Here are three key ways that mindset can transform your life, along with strategies for overcoming the brain's pain avoidance mechanisms:
Belief in Possibility: One of the most powerful aspects of mindset is the belief that anything is possible. When you cultivate a mindset of possibility, you open yourself up to new opportunities, ideas, and experiences that you might otherwise overlook. You start to see challenges as opportunities for growth, and setbacks as temporary roadblocks on the path to success. This mindset empowers you to take bold and calculated risks, to pursue your passions and dreams with confidence, and to create a life that aligns with your values and purpose.
To overcome the brain's pain avoidance mechanisms when cultivating a belief in possibility, it's important to reframe challenges as opportunities for growth rather than sources of discomfort. By focusing on the potential rewards of a challenge, such as personal growth, learning, or accomplishment, you can motivate yourself to push through discomfort and take action.
Action Orientation: While belief in possibility is important, it's not enough on its own. To truly transform your life, you need to take consistent and purposeful action towards your goals. This requires a mindset of action orientation, where you focus on what you can control and take deliberate steps towards your desired outcomes. This mindset helps you to overcome procrastination, self-doubt, and fear, and to develop the discipline and resilience necessary to achieve your goals.
To overcome the brain's pain avoidance mechanisms when cultivating an action-oriented mindset, it's important to break down your goals into small, manageable steps. By taking small actions that feel achievable and low-risk, you can build momentum and create a positive feedback loop that reinforces your commitment to your goals. You can also use positive self-talk, visualization, or other techniques to shift your focus away from potential discomfort or pain and towards the potential rewards of taking action.
Growth Mindset: Finally, a growth mindset is essential for transforming your life. This mindset emphasizes the power of learning, growth, and development, and sees challenges as opportunities to learn and improve. With a growth mindset, you approach setbacks as feedback, rather than failure, and use them as opportunities to reflect, learn, and adapt. This mindset helps you to cultivate a love of learning and curiosity, to embrace challenges with courage and determination, and to achieve your full potential.
"To overcome the brain's pain avoidance mechanisms when cultivating a growth mindset, it's important to reframe setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth."
By focusing on the lessons and insights that you can gain from a setback, rather than the discomfort or disappointment that it may cause, you can shift your mindset towards one.

How would your business look like if you had twice the confidence?
Think about it. Having people buy something from you it's important for them to feel that their decision is a good one.
Can this person/service help me?
What if it doesn't work for me?
Customers don't want to buy a "cat in a bag"
And one of the key components for them to trust what they are buying is how confident is the salesperson.
How confident is he or she about his services/offer?
You know if there is any hesitation for a fraction of a second people feel it. (and they will not buy)
So how confident are you in your business?
How confident are you about yourself, your company your leadership?
For a few pennies, you can attend the confidence for your business workshop on 15 Feb 2023.
This same workshop was attended before by a very select audience of high achievers.

Excessive? Perhaps ... think about it.
