You lived another year, that itself is a great accomplishment! Because life have its ups and downs. It is not always easy. But you kept going!
You have done your best!
Be proud over that! As you enter this year 2023.

Tune inwards. Listen to your heart.
What have you accomplished this past year so far?
It does not have to be grand things. To celebrate the little wins!
It may be that you dared to set boundaries to feel better and learn to say No or to say Yes depending on your needs.
It may be you started eating healthier.
Or taking more time for self care.
Or lessen your screen time.
What ever it is, remember it is all a process and even if you feel you did not accomplish the things you had in mind remind yourself that the seed you planted will grow. Just keep watering them. π
Celebrate that! Every little thing adds up and counts!
You have done great.
Because you are here and ready to embark 2023 with more wisdom and live your life.

Life will sometimes feel so heavy and dark and it can feel as if it is all dark clouds and heavy rain.
But what we always need to remember,
Is that even in the darkest hour the sun will find itβs way back again.
Maybe it is just a string of light you can see, maybe it is all pitch dark in the present moment.
But please do know that the sun is going to shine again.
Know that behind that dark cloud the sun truly exist and will rise and set each day like it always has been.
That is your hope if you feel you are with out.
You will see the sun.
You will feel the warmth.
The sun will shine upon you again βοΈ

Christmas did not turn out as planned. For us affected by the past days heavy rain and flash floods. ππ
Today electricity and water is back.
After days of heavy rain and floods destroying homes and taken lives the sun made a short appearance today.
This is the reason there has been no posts or updates from the Daily Sunshine lately. No electricity or good internet.
We are safe but my heart goes out to everyone my family, friends and kababayans who got affected. ππ
So letβs take an extra moment to be grateful for what we have in life β€οΈ
Today I am grateful to have a house that kept us safe.
That I got to shower and eat warm food.
To be able to touch base with family and friends.
To hug my loved ones.
For todays daily sunshine letβs practice gratitude. π

βοΈThis pose stretches the whole back, the hip on the bent-leg side, the groin, and the hamstrings on the straight leg.
These are common areas where stress tends to build up.
So try this pose to lessen the stress and tension in these areas as you keep easing into Christmas ππ₯°βοΈβοΈ
1. Begin by tilting forward, ground into sit bones.
2.Bring the sole of the foot of the bent leg into the inner thigh; then starting with a straight back, lean forward over the straight leg as far as you can without pushing, and then with an attitude of acceptance, let the back round. Repeat on the other side.
3. Use a cushion under the bent knee to relieve hip stress, bend the straight leg to slightly release the hamstrings and relieve stress in the back of that knee and relieve stress to the sciatic nerve. Make sure that the pelvis is tilted forward by placing a cushion under the sitz bones if necessary.
4. Next, bring the sole of the foot of the bent leg into the inner thigh; then starting with a straight back, lean forward over the straight leg as far as you can without pushing, and then with an attitude of acceptance, let the back round. If that feels good for you. Repeat on the other side.
5. Use a cushion under the bent knee to relieve hip stress, bend the straight leg to slightly release the hamstrings and relieve stress in the back of that knee and relieve stress to the sciatic nerve, and if you are more able to hold the posture in stillness by resting your head and arms on a cushion, do so.
6. Hold for 2-10min. Breath long deep breaths.

This pose calms and soothes your nervous system when Held for a longer time. Also helps improve mobility in your hipsβ€οΈ
Try it and notice the difference.

β° Time of investment 5 to ten breaths up to 10 minutes
π§π»ββοΈ 1. Start by sitting on the floor, legs extended. Bring the soles of the feet together with the knees out to the side, making a diamond shape with the legs.
2. Lie back on the floor or a bolster. As long as it feels good for you.
3. Place your hands and arms on your belly or out to the sides.
4. Stay for five to ten long deep breaths,or up to 10min. As long as body alows , And You feel good.
5. To come out, roll onto your side,
use your hands to help you back
up to sitting.
Support your knees with pillows or bolsters if needed. Consult me or other yoga teacher if you Have problems with your knees, groins, pregnancy to find options and modifications.

1. Lie flat on your back on a flat surface
2. With your head flat on the mat, bend your knees towards your chest.
Try to face the soles of your feet towards the sky.
3. Grab and hold the inside or outside of your feet or toes or hold your ankels or shins. Spread your knees apart. Shift them towards if you can.
4. Remain shoulders on the flat surface. Focus on long deep breaths for 1-7 minutes if you can.
