And THIS is how we move at BEULAHH, LLC!
Good Morning Family and Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! ππΎ
Let's take the time to be a blessing to someone today! We have more than we realize and if each of us took the time to help 1 person, this world would be a much better place!
Dr. King was very impactful during his lifetime, pushing love as the foundation for everything that he sought to accomplish. For love is truly the only thing that can conquer hate.
As you go about your day on this "Service Monday," I leave you with a quote by the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
~Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
No one can answer that question for you but you. Here at , we are committed to creating Impact through EPAK:
πΊοΈEliminating health disparities
πΊοΈPromoting health equity
πΊοΈAddressing the social determinants of health
πΊοΈKnocking down barriers
This is how we choose to assist in distress. What is our "why," you ask? Well, we do it because it's our passion, our life's calling, and our purpose! Together, we can make a difference, one person/family in need at a time!
We challenge you to find your "how" and your "why" and to act on it starting today! Partner with people having the same vision as yourself and make a change in this world by performing at least 1 act of kindness everyday. A little kindness goes a long way! π
If you would like to partner with BEULAHH in the future, send me a DM! Thank you in advance to those who have already reached out! (Appreciation post coming very soon!)
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day from all of us here at BEULAHH, LLC! π

Ever since I gave birth to my Baby, Boldly Empowering U: Lending A Helping Hand, LLC, 6 years ago, I've not really wanted anything for myself for my birthday. I have poured all of Me into my business and it has been a very rewarding experience. A few special people in my life, both in this realm and beyond, have been the motivation I needed to continue to push to take my business to new heights.
So, let me take a moment to give flowers to those in this realm while they can smell them. If I actually told you how these special people had (and still have) an impact on the way I move in my business, this post would be longer than FB allows!! ππ€£π (Y'all should know by now I'm quite verbose! π) I'll list the names and just know they inspired (and still inspire me):

Whether through an encouraging word, sharing experiences, or leading by example in your own business, you all played a roll in motivating me to keep on pushing!!! (My Grandma Beulah, whom my business is named after, used to always say, "there's always someone watching you," so I knew I had to carry myself accordingly.) It hasn't been easy, but the impact of the things I am able to do has been more than worth it! π
So, in lieu of gifts and cards, I ask that you support my Baby BEULAHH by doing 1 or all of the following:
β€ Pray for thr success of BEULAHH, LLC! ππΎ
β€ Like, follow, and share my business page to see the great things we have done and that we will do in 2024 and beyond! β
β€ Consider volunteering your time or resources (ie. transportation, deep freezer, or extra space for perishable and non-perishable food storage) before our events!

πππΎhttps://www.mythirtyone.com/us/en/11212573
β€π€πΎ Consider a one-time donation to the cause! You can donate $6 to $BEULAHHLLC since my Baby turned 6 on December 14, 2023, or you could donate more, if it's on your heart and in your spirit to do so! π We appreciate ALL of your support (see first bullet)!
β€π€πΎ Consider becoming a monthly sponsor and donate what you pay for that cup of coffee everyday or that pack of candy from the vending machine, or thise lottery tickets!! π€£ Just some creative suggestions!
β€π€πΎ For anyone who is a business owner, if you believe we can partner to solve some of the issues in our local community that are in alignment with BEULAHH'S mission to create Impact through EPAK, or you know of a business owner who would be a great fit, let me know! π£
β€π€πΎ Offer an encouraging word every now and then. You never know what people are going through and sometimes a kind word is just what they need to refocus and be great! π
However you decide to support, I appreciate you! I appreciate your birthday love! I appreciate you loving on my Baby, BEULAHH, and I appreciate the good vibes you send my way! ππΎππΎππΎ

Good morning, FBF. ππΎβ€π€
Merry Christmas to my friends and family who celebrate this holiday!
I pray that y'all enjoy your day with family and friends and that love abounds among you all as you enjoy each others company, reminisce on the memories of cherished love ones who have transitioned to be with the LORD, and relish in the excitement of receiving those special gifts on your list.
While you all listen to music, love on each other, fix breakfast, play games, and have fun, remember the essence of this season.
Many people are struggling--one paycheck away from homelessness, one rude comment away from su***de, and one punch in the face away from a trip to the intensive care unit in the hospital. As you receive your gifts, remember this season isn't about receiving, but giving.
The long post is about to begin. ππΎ Indulge me for a moment. π
Often, during this time of the year, I hear people say Jesus is the reason for the season.
*NOTE* Jesus isn't his real name. It's Yehoshua. However, do your own research. None of us--myself included--can use ignorance as an excuse with all of the technology and historical information we have access to. The professor and scholar in me couldn't let this go. I apologize. π¬ It's offered in love. πβ€ Please inbox me if I offended you. Let's work out Matthew 5:23-24, Mark 11:25-26, and 1 Timothy 2:8, so that we can get to Matthew 6:9-14 with a clear consciousness and a pure heart! π)
For the sake of consistency (not necessarily accuracy) and in the spirit of love and compromise, I will use Jesus for the remainder of this dissertation.
Often, during this time of the year, I hear people say Jesus is the reason for the season. However, when I look around, I wonder if Jesus were standing in our presence, would would we even be able to recognize him? More than that, would he see his HEAVENLY FATHER'S SPIRIT in us? Would our actions reflect what Jesus himself lived and preached? Did Jesus give tangible gifts to those who followed him, or were his greatest gifts intangible, yet palpable? π€
In my honest opinion (and I know my brothers and sisters of other faiths may not agree with this), the greatest gift Jesus gave to the world and left on record by the life that he lived was the love he showed through the life that he lived! While the world focuses on Jesus' death, my inspiration comes from Jesus' life--what he did while he walked these mundane shores so many years ago! The love he shared with EVERYONE (even the ones who society cast out), the lives he touched, the miracles he performed, the stories he told, the sacrifices he made-- the life he LIVED!!!
I often wonder if Jesus came back, would those who profess him as their Lord and Savior even recognize him? What if this notion of Jesus coming back has less to do with the flesh and more to do with the SPIRIT? Not the pictures you see inaccurately depicting a man with long, straight hair, fair skin, and blue eyes--whom the Scripture says has hair like wool and feet like fine brass burnt in a furnace (Revelation 1:14-15). But I digress. This is not the essence of this post.
I just want us to realize the power that we have, during this season and all throughout the year, to really love ye one another, a command given by Jesus himself as he travailed these mundane shores. See Matthew 22:37-40
Let's make ourselves a committee of 1 and do our part to aid suffering humanity! That $6 - $12 you spend everyday at Starbucks equates to $30 - $60 a week, $120 - $240 a month, or $1440 - $2880 a year. It may not be much, but if 1 million people did this, we would have $1,440,000,000 - $2,880,000,000 at the end of 1 year, and what a difference that would make!!! It could literally change the trajectory of the lives of so many people!!!
Well, it was in my heart and on my mind heavily to share this with you. Hopefully my scattered thoughts fall of fertile ground in your heart. π
If you want to partner with me to make a difference, let me know. It's my life's work!!
πβ€β€β€π
I love you all very much and to those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas again! Don't forget the TRUE reason for the season (really EVERY season)! π

The Genesis of Boldly Empowering U: Lending A Helping Hand, LLC
Boldly Empowering U: Lending A Helping Hand, LLC (BEULAHH) was founded on December 14, 2017 in Virginia Beach, VA by Angela D. Mitchell, MPH, MBA, CHES. BEULAHH empowers people to help themselves and to create sustainable change within their communities by providing access to resources that aim to eliminate health disparities, promote health equity, address the social determinants of health and knock down barriers for the most vulnerable populations.
The vision for BEULAHH began as a spark in the heart of a young college student who was had always wanted to be an Obstetrician. During her first year of college, she took a sociology class and fell in love with the discipline. Still yearning to be an Obstetrician, a passion for sociology continued to grow and she took more and more sociology classes, eventually majoring in the discipline. During the Fall semester of her 3rd year, she took an anthropology class entitled Health of Black Folks. This class changed her life and altered her career path. After listening to a lecture about the health disparities that existed between chronic disease rates of African Americans and other socially constructed groups of people, she had to know more. After the lecture, she went to her professor and discussed the huge disparities. She then asked a question--and received an answer--that would change the trajectory of her life! Student: βThis class has really blown my mind! I want to be in the medical field, but I want to incorporate sociology too because I love it. I know that I want to combine the two disciplines, but I donβt know how. Do you know of a way to mesh medicine and sociology?β Professor: βHave you heard about the field of Public Health?β Student: βNo I havenβt.β Professor: βIt seems like that would be the perfect fit for you! You should do your research!β Student: βI will! Thank you so much!β
The young scholar was so inspired by the conversation with her professor that she immediately began to research Public Health. It didnβt take long for her to realize that this was EXACTLY what she wanted to do! She had found her calling...what she was placed on this earth to do...and it was to practice Public Health! She wanted to find an internship so that she could confirm that this was in fact the source of the passion within her heart. She went to the career services office on campus and retrieved the book of internships and externships and discovered an opportunity that she could take advantage of during her Winter break.
During the Winter of 2003, she would work with Dr. Frances Butterfoss, president of Coalitions Work and founding director of the Consortium for Infant & Child Health (CINCH), a coalition focused on addressing various health issues of youth in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. Externing for Center for Pediatric Research in Norfolk, VA would afford her the opportunity to work in the community and sit in on coalition conference calls. She was able to sign up qualifying parents for FAMIS and FAMIS Plus, health insurance programs for children in the state of Virginia. Additionally, she would be able to shadow Allies Against Asthma Ambassadors on house calls to educate families on the triggers for their asthmatic children. This experience solidified the trajectory of the ambitious student and fueled her passion within.
