On Saturday, May 14th, we're thrilled to be partnering with The PEG Center for Art & Activism to bring you a multimedia event honoring and celebrating our Earth. 🌏

Timed in conjunction with 🌱 Newburyport’s Spring Festival 🌱, we'll present a screening of THE ANTHROPOLOGIST at The Screening Room at 1pm. After the film, we cordially invite attendees to walk together to 3 Harris Street for a reception with visiting filmmaker Seth Kramer and with artists from the beautiful and deeply moving Shared Habitat Earth exhibit currently on display at The PEG Center for Art & Activism.

One of our favorite films about climate change, and one that's appropriate for anyone over the age of 10 (🧍‍♀️bring your kids! 🧍), THE ANTHROPOLOGIST follows environmental researcher Susie Crate and her teenage daughter Katie as they visit indigenous communities from Siberia ❄️ to the Andes ⛰, and from Kiribati 🏝 to the Chesapeake Bay ⚓️.

By capturing the experiences, ingenuity, and lived sentiments (including hope ❤️) of people who are significantly affected by climate change, it provides a humanizing antidote to a phenomenon often painted by scientific data alone.
