ductible. Two scholarships will be given annually to one male and one female student-athlete from Greencastle High School (IN), who have excelled in the classroom. Initially each student-athlete will receive a $1000 non-renewable scholarship to off-set their first-year expenses at the college of their enrollment. As the endowed funds grow, a third scholarship will be added to include a deserving student who wishes to study English, Speech or Drama in college. Ultimately, it is the intention that the endowment will, over time, allow for 4-year renewable scholarships. You are receiving this solicitation to join our family in keeping the memory of Edward and MaryAnn alive in the community for all time. It is our hope that we can help to make a difference in the lives of needy and deserving students from the Greencastle community as they pursue their dreams of a college education, while preserving the memory of two very special individuals. In the beginning, as we raise funds for this project, the scholarships will be funded directly by our family in order to begin awarding this school year, spring 2017. A public announcement will be made in Greencastle in February, with the first scholarships given at the annual GHS Awards ceremony in the spring.
