It's been a while, but I'm still here and still doing my thing! The full time job I got a couple years ago has taken up most of my time, energy, and mental fortitude, but I still create when I can.

And here we are at a favorite convention of mine!! The Louisville Arcade Expo is a convention for video games of all ages and experience levels. It's a great show to attend as a family, too, where everyone is so friendly and amazing. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys video games. 💜

Well darn... I guess that's it for MerMay. For now at least. Hurt my arm at work and am supposed to limit use of it as much as possible. So no drawing until further notice. 😭😭😭

MerMay day 2! I wish I had given myself more time to work with this one. But ah well. I like it overall, I just don't think the P.o.V. of "looking down into a toy chest" comes across as much as I would like. But, I'm already up too late. So good night and take care everyone!!

All set up at for the weekend and have really been enjoying myself so far! If you're in the Pigeon Forge, TN area and love anime, maybe I'll see you here. 💜

It occurs to me that I never actually posted the few days with of Outfit August that I did finish. So I'll be doing that now. ^_^() I only managed to get 4 of them done, but I'm still very happy with how they turned out!

Last night I had an absolute blast "Getting Medieval on Some Ornaments" at Silo Ridge Makers Market! 🤣 Here are some pictures from that fun time! (Taken by the lovely Jessica's Creations, who was there spinning yarn on her electric spinning wheel.)

BardicKitty - Twitch Working on a Pride Piece!

I Just went live over at https://www.twitch.tv/bardickitty where I will be working on a large beach scene full of a bunch of friends' OCs. Been a while, hasn't it? Figured I would start with something sure to get your attention. XD

Okay, so joking aside, the end if 2019 was an extremely horrible time for me. And then 2020 happened... so there really wasn't an opportunity for anything to get better. But so far I'm making the best I can out of 2021! And I figured that one of the best things I could do is start catching you lovelies up on what little art I did manage to force out over the last couple years that I wasn't able to post already.

Dovewing with this fun project. I tried participating in a fun community art challenge run by the amazing called Outfit August. Day 1 was the base / underwear so that you don't have to worry about losing and whatnot each day instead of just focusing on outfit design.

Day 2 was traveling clothes. This seems a lot more appropriate for the character and more practical than the sleeveless, long and billowy silver dress that I had her running around in when I first created her. ^_^()

Day 3 was In the Garden. This one stumped me a bit, but I like her big floppy hat and kinda too small apron. XD

And then Day 4 happened and all bets were off... Ruffles and Frills. So obviously I had to do the missy complicated style of dress in history. XD So here is my angsty, gothic horror setting character wearing a Rococo dress. Complete with WTF hair. I can not tell you how much time went into this, but I can tell you that the reason I only did for is because this one took most of the month. I included doone details for anyone interested in a slightly closer look!
