TONIGHTS SPECIAL at the restaurant - the chefs as usual keeping it exciting and playing around with flavours from all over the world 🌍 filo wrapped feta, crunchy sesame & nigella seeds for texture and a sticky, sweet hot chilli and garlic honey to bring the whole dish together 🍯

WE WANTED TO SHARE some news with you all. After three years, we’re going to leave The Shed in Bordon.
When The Shed was still in the planning stages, we were the second business to sign the lease, taking a chance on an untested location – but also on ourselves. It became our first brick-and-mortar space, an exciting experience for a young business. While trying to establish this new venue, we also contended with a backdrop of Covid and a stressful economic climate for hospitality businesses.
Despite these challenges, our decision to step away from The Shed is a positive one. We’ve grown significantly over the last seven years and now is the time to refocus and reinvest to double down on what’s working. Our food truck wedding catering business is consistently fully booked, and we’ve successfully opened a coffee shop in Farnham. We even transformed our tiny hole-in-the-wall Hermanos kitchen in Alton into a smash burger concept after opening our first independent Hermanos restaurant just around the corner.
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to relocate our Bordon outlet to Farnham. This move presents exciting opportunities for us, and we can’t wait to share more details with you in the coming weeks. We believe this new location will be a hub of success and growth for our business.
We sincerely hope that our old unit in The Shed will be taken on by another young and excited independent business and make the same connections in the community, from customers to staff and like-minded entrepreneurs.
So, for now, it’s goodbye and thank you to Bordon, but we hope to see you again soon for tacos at one of our other locations.

HATS OFF TO general manager Carlie for last weekends decadent special dessert 🍨 as well as looking lovely this caramelised pineapple cheesecake tasted even lovelier. Just like a big portion of our menu this was gluten free to boot 👍 thank you to all who came and enjoyed our food in the sunshine at both sites over the weekend ❤️

IT WON’T COME as a surprise to some but due to a Hollywood blockbuster film shoot we are having to shut our Alton site for a day.
On Tuesday 7th May our doors will be shut, along side the whole of the market squares. is unaffected so come and join us for the best burgers in town instead 🍔

IS OUR FOOD SPICY YOU ASK? All our recipes our packed full of their own balance of flavours in their own right, we use a lot of fresh herbs, vinegars and citrus to season our dishes so everything is spice-less for those spice averse or for our younger diners 🌶️ however for our hot headed clientele who don’t want to order plain and simple we have always offered 3 levels of heat 🥵
MILD - our signature toasted chilli de arbol oil, it’s got a light hum of chilli but is more about the subtle, smokey flavour. Eaten by kids and adults alike, combined with a squeeze of fresh lime it really does transform any taco on our menu 🌮
MEDIUM - our “mean green” hot sauce, the perfect middle ground for spice lovers, a real balance of sharp jalapeño with white wine vinegar, garlic and a little bit of sweet strawberry to even out the sharp flavour, our most popular hot sauce by far 🫑
HOT - we made this as hot as we could without destroying your palettes with the piles of scotch bonnets we pack into it, it has a real punch but the flavour of the sweet mango and pineapple does balance out the hot heat of the chilli peppers.

THE HOT SAUCE market is a strange one, much of the branding seems to just be full of toilet humour and references to the anti christ.
We wanted something a little more original. Chicxulub (chick-sa-lub) is the name we chose for our hottest hot sauce. It’s a fiery mix of scotch bonnet balanced with sweet pineapple and mango.
Let’s set the scene behind our design process - 66 million years ago an asteroid hit the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. It wiped out the dinosaurs and 75% of all animal and plant life. 66 million years later Hermanos turned up in the Yucatan, thankfully by this time the eco system had fully recovered as our food today is heavily inspired by the food and ingredients solely from this region.
Thanks again to who back in 2020 took our weird brief and made it a reality, we asked for a content dinosaur on the brink of extinction by asteroid and we got it.
We’ve seen many tear up from just a few drops of this, can you handle it?

ITS NOT ALL burritos, nachos and quesadillas at our Alton restaurant 🌯 here’s a couple of our signature desserts that we find are a perfect end to any quick lunch or weekend supper 🍷
First up is our incredibly decadent brownie, baked in house and served with dulce de leche ice cream, sat up on a nest of very moreish cacao nibs 🍫
Second is a perfect sharer if you’ve accidentally ordered a large burrito instead of a regular, our crispy, fried and sugary churros fly out all week, we serve them with a white chocolate sauce and dulce de leche 🍩

LADIES & GENTS meet Ben 👋🏻
Ben joined our front of house restaurant team day one back in December, he’s come from strength to strength starting out honing his craft in the dining room to now getting trained up on the busy bar shifts at the weekend 🍷
As well as being “the fastest right winger” the Alton football scenes ever seen ⚽️ Ben loves downing capri sun and practising his MC skills during the restaurants quiet periods 🎤 here’s to you MC Ben 10 👍
JUST LIKE lamb and mint sauce, chocolate and strawberries and stilton and port, we find that a burrito is a perfect accoutrement for an ice cold and very crisp beer from the wonderful 🍻 Jason has been welcoming our take away customers in his bar from day one and we love him for it 🙏 simply come up to the bar at Hermanos, place your order and we’ll come and find you next door 🌯

As well as being a dynamo in the kitchen moose is a retired trumpet player, aficionado for collectible and fine watches and a keen drum and bass lover.
