Beulah Land is happy to get a new tractor!!
It's a little late but I'm getting a good amount of watermelons. I'm not sure if they'll be ready before the first frost.
Lavender, Rose Hips, and Passion Fruit tea. Great for sleep support and tastes great. I like to add local raw honey.
Found American beautyberry growing wild on my farm!!! We have been here a little over a year and still finding great things on the land.
Drying basil and basil seeds! All these seeds mean many more plants next season than this year. God's will little by little we grow inward and outward
If your interested in herbal teas but just do not know much about their uses or how to use them, I added a link to a great article with beautiful FREE flash cards.
How to Make Herbal Tea Blends Handcrafted herbal tea blends make for a simply beautiful gift for friends and family. Here's how to make your own...
Fall sowing time!!
It's time to plant lettuce, kale, spinach, swiss chards etc...
God's word says,
He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. (2 Cor: 9:6)
We may plant few seeds because we wish to only have a few veggies for ourselves. But God wants to see more and more fruit from us spiritually. (John 15:2-6) Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Give more of yourself over to the finish work of Christ and He will do the pruning. While your at it plant a few more seeds and share with a neighbor, it would give a great opportunity to share the Gospel- The true Love of Christ!
A barrel of pumpkins!!!! Here comes some yummy treats for fall 🍁🍁🍁
Our first ripe passion fruit! But we have enjoying passionfruit leaf tea for a while now.
What's happening on the farm this week?
Fluffy got his cockadoodledoo!
Pumpkins are turning orange!
We're finally getting some cantaloupe!
Lots of figs!
And many beautiful things to see 😍
When we moved here last year this fig tree looked bad. It was thin and had a lot of dead limbs and it produced very little fruit. With pruning, composting, and mulching it looks great this year! No chemicals, not weird man made fertilizers, and no watering it is producing tons of figs! I also was able to start more fig trees from this one. I'm very happy!

Examples of good things take time here on our farm:
--weeding by hand instead of herbicides
--compost over fertilizers
--companion planting instead of insecticides
Young multi-fruit orchard for the future! I will be adding on each fall! Cages are to keep the deer away until the trees are bigger and can handle the antler rubs.
Small Herb Sample:
Left to Right
Spearmint, Parsley, Dill, Oregano, Cilantro, Chocolate Mint
Dried availability shown in photos:
Still have sage available! Fresh and dried!
I have an over load of fresh basil and oregano right now if anyone is interested! Dried is also available.
Here are a few of the volunteer edible or useful native plants that I have found on the property! There are many more I just do not have good photos at this time. Soon!
I found this multicolor 4 o'clock plant, so I gather some seeds and I we'll have this planted for next season. This one is much more interesting than the one I have now.
