This lovely painting was just SOLD this last week! I worked on this one out in the shop quite a few years ago. My Dad and I were enjoying an afternoon together, being all kinds of creative and hanging out. He was curious as to why I painted the sky such a vibrant purple... and the mountains such a bright blue. I didn't have a good answer other than it just 'felt right'.

I've carted this one around to many different venues and exhibits and it hung on the walls of our house for quite a few years. Finally... FINALLY...I had it in the right place (Makers Mercantile & Studio) at the right time for the right someone to see it and say to themselves..."that is fantastic and it must be mine!" ♥
