Athlete set to become the first Manx professional female boxer Isle of Man Commonwealth Games competitor Jade Burden is approved for a professional boxing licence.

Very proud day for me and my family as I can now announce myself as a professional boxer. This has been something I’ve always wanted to do and what a time to do it, women’s boxing is thriving and I want to be a part of it competing against the very best and putting my little Isle of Man on map! Very lucky to have Bob Howard alongside me and trainers and who will develop my skills in the pro ranks.
