ODYSSEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
This is the official page of Odyssey Middle School. Odyssey is a 6-8 grade middle school in Orlando, Florida. The school colors are navy and blue. The school mascot is the Dragon. School administrators include the principal, Beatriz B. Smith, and assistant principals, Charisse Ninah and Jill Pritz.
Odyssey Middle School has over 60 teachers dedicated to building strong teacher-student relationships so students are successful. The faculty and staff have high academic expectations for all students. Students at Odyssey have the opportunity to take advanced coursework including high school level classes in science and math. Odyssey offers a variety of elective classes including Project Lead the Way, orchestra, Spanish, keyboarding, physical education, art, theater, band, and Computer Technology Education.
In addition to the strong academic opportunities offered, students at Odyssey are highly involved in extracurricular activities. These activities include intramurals as well as the soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Other afterschool activities include National Junior Honor Society, Tea Club, Spirit Club, Builder’s Club, Beautification Club, Chess Club, Theater, and more.
