He is loved and owned by Terri and Brian C**n, Bred by Rick Reiff of Mud Lake Golden Retrievers and exclusively handled by Suzie Schafer. Maxx is a nicely sized dog with plenty of bone, measuring 23 1/2 inches at the withers,and weighing in at 78lbs. He has a wonderful temperament, biddable in any situation,and has passed these trait onto his kids. He is most known for his stunning headpiece, with
a sweet and confident expression that melts your heart. He has dark brown eyes , and jet black pigment that remains all year . Maxx has a scissor bite and full dentition. Maxx exhibits great showmanship which was evident at an early age. He made his debut in the breed ring at 5 months old and was awarded Best Puppy In Show and a Sporting Group Placement. At 9 months old he was again awarded Best Puppy In Show along with a major reserve amongst a beautiful entry from the 6-9 month class . We knew this was just the beginning. Maxx has many qualities that can contribute to the breed: he is well a balanced dog standing four square , short coupled, ribs are good , loin is short , nice hindquarters, stifles well bent , and hocks well let down. He has a strong back with a level top line that remains solid whether standing or on the move .With plenty of leg beneath him , he is clean coming and going and converges into a center line of gravity beautifully it is quite amazing to watch. Maxx is a Best In Specialty Show , Multiple Group Placing Grand Champion. We are full of gratitude for everything both Maxx and Suzie have accomplished.
