We regret to inform of the passing of Coach Rick Halpern formerly of Yeshiva Atlanta and Yeshivas Ohr Yisroel, and the father of wrestlers (and Wittenberg champions) Dovi and Akiva Halpern. Watching his sons take to the mats reawakened Rick's passion for wrestling, and the former state finalist and college captain of GW volunteered his time to help build his sons and their teammates into better men and great wrestlers. Our community will miss him greatly.

As we kick off the 26th Annual Wittenberg Tournament tomorrow for the first time in 3 years, it's about time we take a look back at 2020's finals matches!
Calling all former wrestlers in the NY/NJ area: in need of more workers for the Wittenberg Tournament this week at Frisch.
Wednesday Feb 15 - 6-9pm equipment transport, load and unload truck
Thursday Feb 16 - 5-8pm set up mats and equipment in the gym
Friday Feb 17 8am-1pm wrestling scoreboard
Sunday Feb 19 8am-5pm wrestling scoreboard
Sunday Feb 19 5-8 pm clean up the gym
