In The Spotlight will be following the Grand Daughter of Rockabilly Legend, Gene Vincent, Chantilly Lace, as she carries on her grandfather's legacy. Auditions start July 19, 2011 and will continue every Tuesday
until she complete's her band, Pedals and Pistols! We will be streaming live via In The Spotlight's Livestream on Facebook. Gilroy, Ca. Come prepared to play and dress as if you are going onstage. We want to see what you think a Rockabilly Musician looks and dresses like! Be creative! If you think you have what it takes to be part of Rockabilly history, then we want you! Must be able to work well with others, take and follow directions, Play an instrument, be able to contribute ideas. Able to read music, a plus but, not needed. Participants must have a great attitude and restrain from any vulgar or offensive language or actions. This is a family oriented, community based, project. Please keep it clean! Local Rockabilly artists, Los High Tops, will be recording a couple songs that we will use at the auditions. We will mute the track of the instrument you will be playing and you can fill in with what YOU think it should sound like. What would you play, if it was your song?
