Triangle Math Teachers' Circle

Triangle Math Teachers' Circle

We serve people interested in the teaching profession with an interest in learning and practicing the pedagogical approaches of math circles.

The Triangle Math Teachers’ Circle is an initiative hosted by the Department of Mathematics at North Carolina State University, in the same way that the Chapel Hill Math Circle is hosted by the Department of Mathematics at UNC Chapel Hill. It welcomes anybody interested in the teaching profession, at any level, with an interest in learning and practicing the pedagogical approaches of math circles

Registration at bit.ly/TMTCOctober2022 is open for our free Triangle Math Circle's Fall Workshop on October 22, 2022 at NC State University. It's an opportunity for teachers of all kinds to rekindle their joy and excitement about mathematics.

We will have two presenters. In the morning Robin Anderson will be helping us to experience fully engaged learning. In the afternoon Julie Barnes will lead us in an escape room activity that can be used in-person, virtually, and for many levels of students.
