Attention HALO supporters, we need your help with supplies for our kitten fosters. We are in need of KMR or PetLac kitten formula stage 1, Miracle ni***es with both sizes and heating pads that have settings and no auto shut off. HALO Animal Rescue will be hosting a vaccination clinic this Saturday, March 30th at their main shelter, 3227 E Bell Rd, Ste D151 in Phoenix from 11am – 2pm. HALO will offer Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP vaccines for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for cats. Nail trims, microchips and dewormer are also being offered. HALO will have free spay and neuter vouchers available first come first serve as well. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier and cats must be in a carrier. No appointment necessary.

Save the date!!! March 30th HALO will be hosting a vaccine/microchip clinic featuring nail trims and more at our main shelter. Please see the attached flyer for the different options including bundle options. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. We are hiring Animal Care Specialists at our Deer Valley PetSmart location and several at our main shelter. We're also looking for a PT Customer Service Rep for the weekends at our main shelter and a FT Transportation Driver. Pay starts at $15/hr with full and part-time positions available. Our hearts are full of gratitude and our water is once again nice and warm! All of us here at HALO Animal Rescue want to thank you for leaping to our rescue at a critical time of need. The three on-demand water heaters have been replaced. Our laundry, dishes and pets have all the warm water needed at just the right temperature to ensure we can keep the shelter disinfected, their beds clean and cozy and their bodies primped, ready for their new families!
We were able to raise $36,541.20, enough to fully replace the faulty heaters and tuck a little nest egg in our medical fund's basket. Thank you!

EMERGENCY FUNDS NEEDED TODAY
We have an emergency and we are asking for your help today to raise the $33,000 we need to cover this expense.
As of this moment, the 3 on-demand hot water heaters we rely on to help us keep the shelter disinfected and comfortable for the dogs and cats have stopped working due to their age.
As you can imagine, we use hundreds of gallons of hot water to wash the dozens of daily loads of laundry, the piles of dishes and for bathing the pets every day.
The work is scheduled so there is no delay for the animals’ sake, but this expense slows our ability to say yes to more pets in need while we divert funds for repairs.

Good afternoon HALO Volunteers and Fosters! We have a couple of items to share. We are looking for a couple more volunteers for tomorrow's adoption event out in Peoria. Please see the location on the flyer in this post. You can sign up through your Civic Champs app.
Also, if you or anyone you know would be willing to treat 3 ringworm kittens who are 3 1/2 mos old, please reach out to [email protected]. We will supply you with everything you need to help these fur babies.
Last but not least, we are running low on newspaper for the kennels. If you'd like to donate, please drop of newspaper at our main shelter 7 days a week.

Tomorrow is the Adopt-A-Dog adoption event at Volkswagen North Scottsdale from 11a - 1p. Come on out to meet awesome doggos like Sophia, Bella, Charlie & Mia. We're hoping that Tiger (Boxer age 7), Laddie (Chihuahua mix age 😎 and Bugga (Miniature Dachshund age 7) will find their forever home real soon. The 3 Musketeers came to HALO back on June 7th from a good Samaritan who took them in from another shelter who was going to euthanize them after being turned in when their owner died.
“It’s unfortunate that we see this all too often,” said Heather Allen, President and CEO of HALO Animal Rescue. “Pet owners pass away without a plan for their pets, leaving family members and shelters scrambling to help on short notice.”
The senior trio love each other and must be adopted together. They are leashed trained, partially potty trained, ride well in a car and like other dogs and people. Their adoption has been waived. They are up to date on their vaccines. They have been microchipped and sterilized. HALO is seeking just the right home for them.
Also, Angela's Mobile Nail Trims have offered 1 year's worth of nail trims for this trio to their adopter. We appreciate her generosity!
