For all the men and women who have served in our military and given their all, there are no words to describe how thankful and grateful I am for your sacrifice. May your families and friends and everyone who did or will never get to know you, forever be mindful of the freedom your sacrifice gives.

I wrote this song many years ago now after my grandpa died when I was thinking about this man I didn't know as well as I thought I knew, and it got me thinking about all the people we should never forget. If you'd like to listen for the first time or again, here's the link...

May this Memorial Day truly be a memorable day, making new memories, but never forgetting those that have gone before us to make this kind of day still possible!

If you're available around 7:30 p.m. this evening and you want to hear some amazing music from multiple participants of the CPRS choirs over the last 25 years, starting with the choir that I was in my senior year of High School in 1997, I will be singing with them! Come join us for a benefit concert for CPRS at CPRS at 819 W Waldo Ave., Independence, MO in the auditorium! There will be a free-will offering to give donations to benefit the school and there will be a cookie reception afterwards in the gymnasium as well!
