Often as a creative I get an idea in my head that just won’t go away until it’s seen to fruition. (I guess that’s how this whole thing kind of started.) After seeing so many “river” tables and cutting boards on Instagram, I felt like something similar could be done with my upland inspired earrings. This wood was from the hinge portion of a cut from a tree I fell doing some property management. I poured resin between the two sides, shaped, finished and voila! I love how you can almost feel the wood breaking apart from itself!
