If your answer to these questions are yes, consider yourself lucky. You're not part of the 10% of the population who suffers from food insecurity because of world hunger. This means that they either go to bed hungry, have uncertainties about their ability to acquire food, compromising on food quality, reduce the number of times they eat in a day, or even go days without eating. This is very concerning as hunger can lead to a weaker immune system, increased risks of diseases, and a stunted growth for children.
But turn that frown upside down! For we, here at W.H.E.A.T (World Hunger Eradication and Termination), are here to make sure that no one, especially children, should go to bed hungry. We're here to provide them with healthy food and clean water to make sure that they continue growing, stay healthy, and achieve their dreams in the future.
We are here to end world hunger — one meal at a time.
