We are a friendly bunch who train on a Saturday morning between 10-12 at Peterborough indoor bowls club.
We have a wide age range and varied disabilities, everyone is welcome.

It was an emotional morning at Boccia today as our coach of 4 and a bit years is moving on to start a new career. "I am really going to miss this group of people, but I'm sure I will stay in touch!!" Here's some pictures from today's session 🔴⚪️🔵
Today we played some friendly matches against Greetham at the bowls club. The overall score when we added all the match results together came to 48-22 to Peterborough. Well done to everyone who played 🔴⚪️🔵🎉
We have had a lovely day today having a picnic in the park and celebrating one of our members special birhtday!! 🎉 a great day had by all that attended 🔴⚪️🔵

Some of our Boccia members where down in Hatfield today competing in the Heathcoat Cup. For two of them it was there first time and they both played really well and should be proud. One made it through to the Semifinals but got pipped at the post the other performed really well in the group she was placed in. The final member of the team made it all the way to the finals in her group and put up a great fight to try and win that Gold medal but unfortunately she lost to an ex-Olympian and came home with the Silver.

Last minute opportunity for the Boccia club last night when we got asked to go to the greyhound track and compete in the HUMAN HOUND race! Great fun and we came fourth behind three men!! (I was number 5) 🐶🔴⚪️🔵
Peterborough Boccia Club headed up to Greetham yesterday to play Rutland! Good morning and well played by everyone we added up all the results from the matches we played and the final scores where PBC 48 - Rutland 42!! Can't wait to meet up again!! 🔴⚪️🔵

The Boccia club this morning headed down to Ferry Meadows for the Step Out for Stoke walk to support one of its participants. We all had a lovely time and enjoyed a picnic and chill out after the walk. Well done to everyone involved. 🔴⚪️🔵
Tomorrow morning (Saturday 17th June) the Boccia club will be heading to Ferry Meadows in Peterborough to support one of its players in the Step out for Stroke walk. If anyone is interested in coming along, then it will be starting at 11am at the Lakeside restaurant/water sports centre. 🔵⚪️🔴

We have had our second bunch of league matches this weekend down in Lowestoft!! The group won a league match 5-3 and lost the other league match 8-2. And we played a couple of friendlies which we won!! Overall we all had a good time, and well played to everyone that attended thank you for making the journey. 🔵⚪️🔴
We have had two league matches today against Norwich, we lost the first match 9-3 but we won the second match 7-6. Well played everyone 🔵⚪️🔴

What a brilliant morning we had yesterday. Peterborough Boccia Club were lucky enough to have a visit from Evie Edwards a Boccia Paralympian who went to the Rio Olympic Games. She done a great session with the group and they have all gained something from the day. Thank you Evie for coming along. 🔴⚪️🔵 (keep an eye out for some more pictures to come)
