It’s finally Fall 🍂
Still a little rusty after months of painter’s block, but slowly getting there.
Happy Friday everyone ☺️
Pinch me, I think I’m dreaming!
My paintings “Coffee and a Lobster” and “Tea and Quilt Coat” are now available in Anthropologie!!
To find them, simply type “Coffee Girls Wall Art” on Anthropologie’s Home & Decor Section and you’re there! You can also find all the info related to the print’s materials, size, and delivery options.
This was the BEST way to end my Monday!
If you’re interested in purchasing some of my other prints, you can also go to Junique Art Shop, Fy! Shop and Artfully Walls 😊 For original artworks, just send me a DM!
Hope you’re all doing great in this weird world. Un abrazo!
Hi everybody.
I hope you’re all doing well in this crazy world. There have been a lot of changes for me recently which have kept me from posting as much as I used to:
- I moved from Mexico City, my home for 10 years, to Southern California.
- I got a new job doing something I love and am very passionate about.
- I’m getting married in the fall, which means we have been busy organizing a wedding (TONS of paperwork, let me tell you)
- Last year was pretty hard in terms of mental health, so I’ve been slowly working on feeling “normal” again.
Last year I felt the strain of social media get to me: I began to stress and worry about things like followers and reels and the right content to post, instead of focusing on what I loved and just paint. It has definitely affected my work and my mental health, so I have decided to take a step back, figure some things out, and come back to it very slowly. I don’t wait to pressure myself into producing right away, so I’m going to be taking my time, enjoying this new life unfolding before me, and wait for inspiration to come knocking on my door. It’s been less than a month since we finally moved into our new home, so I’m still waiting for all the mind dust and the real dust to settle.
For all of you who have faithfully followed my journey until now: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I am still here, so if you are interested in a painting or just want to have a chat, you know where to find me 😊
Have a great weekend.

I ran into Adriane Nieves’s work yesterday and I was just -blown- -away-. I found it so honest and endearing and FREE! Her work inspired me to try to let go and make my hand just flow with my pencil, pastel and brush, and this is the result 🙃 It’s not perfect but it’s mine, and I love it.

Transitioning in art is hard, especially when you can’t seem to pinpoint what you want to express. I feel weird with the work I’m producing, it’s looser and freer but I sometimes the precision and intricate details of my older paintings 🫠 Here’s hoping I can find the right balance soon 😵💫

“Some people, when they have taken too much and been driven beyond the point of endurance, simply crumble and collapse and give up. There are others, however, though they are not many, who will for some reason always be unconquerable…they have an indomitable spirit, and nothing, neither pain nor torture nor threat of death, will cause them to give up” - The Swan
Wes Anderson’s interpretation of Roald Dahl’s short story is truly beautiful, turning a tale of bullying into art. This painting is my interpretation of what happens afterwards, when the “giant swan” meets what he desires most in the world: a friend.
