Our time in Tampa Fl. has been so amazing! We arrive May 10th only planning to stay for 1 month, and ended up staying 4!! There is just so much to do in the area. We enjoyed plenty of sunsets on the beach, days of bike riding along the shoreline, visiting the sponge docks in tarpon springs, eating amazing food, made new friends, I met Posies Flower Truck and ended up making flower crowns for her truck, kayaked the springs, the bay, and under the mangroves, visited family, and saw lots of wildlife like manatees, sharks, sting rays, and dolphins all while we swam. Now we head to the east coast of Florida.

We took our bikes to Clearwater Beach and rode the entire length of the beach to Caladesi State Park. Check it out in this cute video Don made.

Today he turns 17…. He is my baby the one you could never turn your back on when he was little. He was always into something, and mischievous as all get out.

There once was a time in church when he was about 2 and he was crawling all over the place…. Under the pews, over people, just everywhere, and I was frustrated and embarrassed because I couldn’t make him be still (like a good catholic is supposed to be). At the end of services I was ready to pull my hair out and paddle his butt when a older woman tapped me on the shoulder and told me that she had been watching us, and she wanted me to know that he was very special and that she hoped she knew him when he got older. Little did she know saved him that day, but she was right though… He has become such a thoughtful, kind, and responsible young man. I am in awe at how much he means to sooo many people.

Happy Birthday Luke! You are a light in this world, and I cannot wait to see the man you become ❤️

Ft Desoto Park FL.

Super fun day on our bikes, hanging out on the beach, and in the water…. Just not to far from shore! There are SHARKS!!! 🦈

We spent the day on the ocean side. Next time we will spend the day in kayaks on the bayside.

4/8 - 4/28

3 weeks….. 3 weeks of adventure.
I was supposed to be back in Florida to help move the rig from storage to our new location in Wachula at the Peace River Rv Resort by the 7th. Unfortunately flying in or out of Florida on standby has been nearly impossible. Don almost always has to fly jumpseat, and I don’t always make it …… like this time. He had to fly ahead, and move while I went back to San Antonio, and tried again the next day. Needless to say I finally made it. Once I made it back we drove over just in time to wish his sister a happy birthday!

Kaylin came to visit, we finally got some beach time, and celebrated her 20th birthday. Special thanks to Dawn and Jeff for the cake and helping us celebrate her! ❤️

After a couple of weeks in Wachula we relocated again just outside of Orlando. Here I have done a little promoting for Reef Natural, and today we went to a natural spring.

The natural springs was called Rock Springs at Kelly Park. It was fantastic! You get in at the head of the spring and float lazily for about 30 min in crystal clear water that stays at 68-72 degrees year round. After about 30 min you come to a bridge, get out, and it is about a 5-10 min walk back to do it again. It was inexpensive to do at $5/carload. You can rent tubes or bring your own ( we brought our own), and it was a great way to spend the day. Next time I’m renting a kayak and doing the 8 mile run!

Life has been crazy busy, and doesn’t appear to be slowing down at all! Luke also surprised us this week and finished high school. 😭. He’s only 16!! It will be couple of weeks till we get his diploma, but he is done, and we really proud of him. ❤️

3/24 - 4/5

We left Kissimmee Fl, and headed to family’s on the east coast. We were so lucky that their community had a place where we could store the rig for a bit while life got busy. We spent a couple of days with them enjoying the company, and I finally got to put my feet in the sand when we went to lunch.

After that it was time for Don to head to work, and Luke and I to head home where we had friends and family waiting. Luke and Z made “Granny’s” cookies, and even went swimming with Oz! 🥶. I got some some Monie time, and a chance to pop in on lots of other loved ones as well.

Then it was time for a mad dash to San Antonio where we spent time with family 💕, and I spent some time celebrating Nicole , and the launch into her birthday month. It was a blast! We rented the electric assist bikes ($15/day) at the Pearl, and cruised all over downtown San Antonio. I had no idea it was FIESTA! What a great time to rent bikes!! ( for those of you that don’t know Fiesta is a 2 week party in San Antonio filled with parades, culture, and fun ). We ended up at the Friendly Spot in the King Williams District drinking margaritas, and let’s just say the ride back to the Pearl was even more fun! 😂

Then it was time head back to mom’s for the whole reason we were here…. so Luke could get his license. Which he did. Then back to San Antonio so I can fly to Houston, meet up with Don, and head back to FL…..

Whew 😅….. that was a lot! I made myself tired just reading all that!

Oh, and one more bonus…. I got my Texas Bluebonnets 😍

3/18 - 3/21. On the road

We do things in true “ Rollin With It” style…..We left Louisiana not knowing where we were going to stay next, but the goal was FL. As we finally made it back to civilization we began making calls to find something in the Pensacola area, but EVERYTHING was booked, or we didn’t fit thanks to our beast of a rig at 44’. We finally found a place in Alabama we could stay for 1 night only. When we pulled in at Wildwood RV park they told us that they just had a call and we could now have 2 nights in a 50amp vs the 30amp we originally were going to get. I was so happy!! It gave us a minute to sit still and decide what we were doing next.

Original plans were to end up in Panama City and store the rig for a bit while Don worked, and I flew home for a few days, but finding anywhere to stay last minute in the panhandle of Florida during spring break is very hard to do. We decided to head towards Orlando for a few days before heading to the east coast to store the rig.

The best part about being in Orlando is our youngest’s, now 16, opportunity to finally meet a couple of brothers that he has been playing online with since he was 7 yrs old!! Their parents let them take the day off from school, and the boys went to Universal Studios. They have been waiting for this for a really long time, and it was really cool to see them finally meet in person. ❤️

Goodbye Louisiana. Hello Florida.

We spent four days in total communication blackout. I didn’t mind it until the hot water heater stopped working and I had no access to YouTube videos.

Nice to be free of technology - for a short bit.

Waco, Tx
We had a great time visiting the Dr. Pepper museum. We dropped off our rig for repair and decided to tour Waco for the day. The museum was educational and was filled with nostalgic soda items. We finished the tour with a Dr. Pepper float.

Waco TX
Putting our RW427 in the shop to fix the leveling system. This gave us a few days to explore Waco.
The Silos did not disappoint. I am now thoroughly impressed with Chip and Joanna Gaines. I wasn’t expecting much beyond a little merch store. Wow so much to see, do and shop. Must see when driving I35.
