Hey, it's been a while!
This is my come back photo, one of many that I took in 2021 and didn't get to process.

This is a native Australian bee known as Reed Bee, Exoneura angophorae species. It's a small solitary bee, about 8mm in size, found along the eastern coast. They are often found nesting in pre-existing cavities, such as in dead tree branches or hollow stems.
Native bees are important pollinators of many native plant species. However, loss of habitat due to urbanization, agriculture, and other human activities has put many native bee species at risk. When their natural habitats are destroyed, bees may struggle to find suitable nesting sites, as well as sufficient sources of pollen and nectar to feed themselves and their young. This can lead to decline in bee populations and disruption to pollination.

One way to help mitigate the effects of habitat loss and promote a healthy ecosystem is to plant native species of plants in your garden or even on your balcony. Native plants are well-adapted to local growing conditions and can provide food and shelter for a variety of wildlife, including bees..
