Introducing Five Districts

The North Georgia Conference will implement important changes in the months ahead. Members of the Annual Conference will consider a reduction in the number of districts from eight to five, effective July 1, 2024.

After Easter, United Methodists will turn their attention to Charlotte, North Carolina, where General Conference is gearing up. The North Georgia Conference has secured camp cabins at Camp Thunderbird, part of the Greater Charlotte YMCA for the last few days of the conference. Transportation is not included but the camp is only about 20 minutes from the conference center. This retreat is for adults 18 and over.

We’ll have a zoom meeting in late April to meet our cabin mates.
