Working on new stuff. I’m just trying to find the next track that gets me really excited. New music starting soon!

I’m in the process of getting ready to record my next single. I don’t have a working title or anything for it yet except a verse and a chorus part on guitar written. Hopefully tomorrow the inspiration to start on it will strike. We shall see.

“avvay” should be out on streaming services next month. My distro says the schedule is the 5th. Apple Music I’m sure will take longer as it always does. In the meantime if you haven’t already checked it out please have a listen!

First draft of lyrics written for “avvay”. I feel like this song is gonna be really important. At least for me anyways. I hope everyone likes it when I finally get it out I honestly do. But I feel like this song is one I’ve been trying to write for 30+ years. I think once it’s done it will have been a huge catharsis for me and the things I’ve gone through in my life.

Made more progress last night and this morning.

New song structure put together. Hopefully tomorrow I will begin to record.

Been in the back room lately playing acoustic guitar trying to write.

So I have a question for everyone. Let me start by prefacing.

The songs I have almost done for the short (3 song) “Restless Head” e.p. are a bit out of my feeling right now. Meaning I’m kinda uninspired by them. Not that they are bad songs by any means they are just leaning to a sound that I’m not really feeling at the moment. They are almost done but I am having a hard time finding drive to work on them. So here is my question. Should I:

1. Get a few fixes done to the songs and send them off to my engineer for mix and master and release them as is with maybe an updated version in the future

Or

2. Just put that ep on the back burner and move towards the direction I’m trying to go in and maybe finish that ep later MAYBE. I have a hard time going back to stuff. And if I did I think it would be a weird release because of the sound of it. Even now one of the songs is a little different feeling but I feel it would fit ok after ADFTD.

I’m just trying to decide because if I do want these songs to for sure see daylight then I should release them. They are decent songs but I just don’t have the drive or desire to seriously work on them. So it would basically mean a patch job so to speak.

What do yall think?

Life has been crazy. Started new job and just been exhausted from it. Got a new delay pedal I. The mail yesterday and have a new reverb coming as well as a new jazzmaster. I’m stoked to get back into the seat and start making music again. Gonna tidy up some stuff on the “restless head” short ep and try and get that sent off and start on some new music hopefully soon. Possibly gonna try for a full length though that may take a while but we shall see. Anyways just wanted to update and let everyone know this project is still alive and well it’s just been on hold while I’ve been adjusting to everything.

No Outlet Just a guy in a bedroom making music

Been away from the music progress for a few days. But sometimes that’s needed. Hoping to return to finish up some tracks for my next release soon. My buddies over at Holt Music are working on an e.p. As well that I’m super stoked about hearing. Planning to hopefully do a split with them in the future. I’ll be getting g back to work on these songs pretty soon I think.

New song idea started today. Need to get back to vocals on the one song, lyrics just haven’t been inspired lately. But the next small ep is in the works!

Trying to get material together for another release because I’m so close.

I’ve got two songs ready to be sent off and another that needs lyrics and vocals.

Wanna try and write another song or two for the release. Hopefully it comes soon.
