And... just like that, our 2024 Quilts in the City show is done! Thanks to everyone for all your hard, exhausting work to make this happen. Now, get some rest and start working on your quilts for our show in 2026. 😊

Here's a few photos from day one of our quilt show. Beautiful quilts everywhere you look! Join us from 10 am- 5 pm for day two at the Yakima Convention Center. Door prizes, demonstrations, raffle quilt drawing at 3 pm, and lots of fabulois vendors to explore! See you there!

Today at 3 pm, we'll draw for the winner of.our wonderful raffle quilt. Tickets are just $1, and proceeds from the ticket sales go to benefit mammography services at Yakima's O'Hara. Tickets are available at our quilt show, 10 am- 5 pm at the Yakima Convention Center! Come and see us!

It's almost time! Our Featured Artist, Nancy Ramsey has arrived! Come and see her fabulous works of art! Friday , 10-6 and Saturday, 10-5, May 17 &18 at the Yakima Convention Center!

It must be true! There is is banner up on Yakima Avenue! Our quilt show "Quilts in the City" starts Friday, May 17, 10 am- 6 pm and Saturday, May 18, 10 am -5 pm. See you there!

Quilt Show quilts need to be registered by April 18……this is not an April Fools joke.🙂

We received some more wonderful donations for our quilters boutique at our quilt show May 17 and 18th. See you there.

We have something new for the quilt show this year. Because we are a guild with members
loaded with kindness, let’s show the world what we do.
In the community service section at the quilt show this year we will have a table set up with
large baskets. Our goal is to fill these baskets with donated quilts, which will then be
distributed to various locations we support, like YWCA and Voices for Children.
What to Do:
1 Please make finished quilts to be donated. Machine sew the binding.
2 Reference for quilt sizes Comfort Donations for the Community (yakimavalleyquiltersguild.org)
3 DO NOT register these quilts
4 Bring them to the quilt show admittance table on May 17-18 2024
5 Quilts will be brought back to the basket table by our show volunteers
6 After the show, these quilts will be divided and delivered to the three designated sites.
Let’s fill our baskets to the brim! Overfull these baskets with love and kindness. Please help us
make a heap of quilts. Please also spread the word; this is not just for YVQG members.
