What an emotional weekend… we definitely had a blast at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association show in Des Moines. Still in shock and disbelief but we lost a great one yesterday in a tragic accident. Bill has been a friend for over 15years. If you were fortunate enough to meet him, you would know he was the kindest man. Bill was a self employed hard-worker who busted his hump to do the 2 things he loved the most, spend time with his family and race.

Bill you are going to be missed but never forgotten. Meredith and Gavin we are always here for you, love you guys!!!! …

Just a little under a week to go. …. Goodguys Rod & Custom Association will be rolling into Des Moines Iowa state fairgrounds. We will have the 58 on display at the Bowler Performance Transmissions booth. So be sure to come on by say hello and see one of the best shows of the year!!!!

What an amazing weekend, we got to spend time with our family and friends, made a lot of new friends. The F1 and Impala booth took home Top 10 awards, presented by Creative Rod & Kustoms. To top all that,our team took home the Chevrolet Performance GM Iron Builder of the Year Finalists Award. Big thank you to the Giambalvo Family and the whole Goodguys Rod & Custom Association staff for putting on another great show!!!

To top off this past weekend… we recently completed a 55 Chevrolet stroller for our good friend Brian Lutz . It was a present for his grandson , not only was he surprised and smiling ear to ear, he took best pedal car of Cruisin Ocean City .

What a great weekend , the F1 took home Truck of the year !!! … We met so many great people from Kansas, Miami all the way to the UK. Dennis , Saun and our whole team I can’t thank you guys enough , without all of you , this wouldn’t be possible. I also want to give a big thank you to Joe Carpenter and his whole staff for putting on an amazing show!!! After using PPG Refinish USA & Canada / Refinition PPGfor 30 plus years, I have decided to stop using their products. While working with PPG, I enjoyed being part of a special family. However, in meeting with PPG senior management,they expressed that my contributions are in the past and the custom market is not their priority.

This news made me take time to think about what would be best for my business and customers I serve. So, I have decided to make a long overdue change to work with the BASF team. They still value custom painters and are willing to invest their time in this market.

I would like to thank numerous people who helped grow Korek Designs....
