Las rosetas en neuropatología son formaciones en tumores del sistema nervioso que parecen círculos o anillos de células. Las Rosetas de Homer Wright se encuentran en neuroblastomas y meduloblastomas, compuestas por un centro de neuropilo rodeado de células tumorales. Las rosetas de Flexner-Wintersteiner, típicas de retinoblastomas, poseen un lumen central. Las verdaderas rosetas ependimales, como su nombre indica, son características de los ependimomas y contienen un espacio central lleno de material eosinofílico. Por último, los pseudorosetas perivasculares se encuentran en gliomas y están formadas por células tumorales dispuestas en torno a un vaso sanguíneo.

Clear type renal cell carcinoma!
This is an example of clear cell-type renal carcinoma. The presence of these delicate and branched septa involving nests of cells is characteristic and, if seen even focally in a core biopsy, is sufficient for the diagnosis.
Another TIP: Exercise better to characterize/define the clear cytoplasm (optically transparent? with filaments? rarefied granular? vacuolated?). This can be a clue to the correct diagnosis.
