Rachel Smith has sent the following:

"Hello! I’ve got two tickets for Friday’s Seder dinner but I’d love to trade them with someone for another day. Can I post on here to see if someone’s willing to switch?"

Rachel is wanting to trade two seats for the March 24 2023 Seder for two seats at the April 7 2023 Seder. Please message here if you wish to link to her request.

For 2023, the BYU Passover Seder, the largest "model Seder" in the United States, will hold three sessions again this spring, March 17, March 24, and April 7, in the BYU Wilkinson Center. Eash session will seat over 200 guests for the traditional Jewish Seder experience, using the traditional Passover Haggadah and featuring a four-course kosher-for-Passover banquet, complete with matza (unleavened bread), maror (bitter herbs). and the other items of the traditional Passover plate. Tickets for all three sessions sold out in just one week! If you did not get to join us this year, look for our 2024 event tickets to go on sale in February 2024. Hag Sameah!

Over the weekend we held the third and final model seder for this spring in our BYU Passover series. We had 200 guests at each event. After being canceled for both 2020 and 2021 due to Corona, it was very nice to get back to teaching those interested in the Utah community about Passover, from the traditional Jewish perspectives (as contrasted to the "Last Supper" perspectives). Our events are one of the largest model seder programs in the United States, and are well received by all who attend. Here's wishing our friends in Israel and everywhere a Good Passover season!

BYU Religious Education announces with regret that the BYU Passover Seder Services for 2020 have been cancelled. The services, which were planned for March 20, March 27, and April 11, have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled this year. This decision is taken out of an abundance of caution with regard to the ongoing COVID-19 virus pandemic, and reflects recent instructions from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that large public gathering events not be held for the time being at its institutions of higher education. Refunds to those who had purchased tickets for the 2020 BYU Passover will be forthcoming. We look forward to continuing the BYU Passover tradition again next year in Spring of 2021.
