YY was inspired by the piece she played in PCO this summer
"Five types of Sunrise I have seen in 茶果嶺” by HK composer Austin Yip. This movement is called "Silver". She wants to paint it. Although she described that the movement is horrifying because of fast and complicated rhythm, I am quite impressed how it turned out.

HKICA proudly presents: Pacific Cello Orchestra Hong Kong
Established in 2018, Pacific Cello Orchestra Hong Kong (PCO) is a summer music program for cellists of advanced levels under the age of 18, aiming to share the pure enjoyment of music and to provide them with the rare chance of a professional music-making experience. Members of the PCO gather for a series of intensive rehearsals and prepare for performances. PCO currently comprises 27 cellists rigorously selected by the Hong Kong International Cello Association panel through recommendations from cellists of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, faculty members of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as well as the Hong Kong Baptist University. Not only does PCO serve as a platform for these talented, competent young cellists to showcase their musicality, it provides them with a precious opportunity to benefit from the faculty members, to collaborate with other cellists, as well as to build new friendships.
All members of the PCO are competent, confident, and enthusiastic young cellists. The performance of these young cellists will certainly inspire our audience with their extraordinary concentration and immense dedication to music and remarkable musicianship.
