What does becoming a member get me?

Annual family membership is $25 and includes:

- One (1) member t-shirt

- Two (2) stickers

- Access to member's only page

-- Includes: access to member swag (windshield banners, stickers, shirts, etc), special events, vendor discounts and more

How did this club start?

Well, it all evolved over pizza and beer at a local establishment. Don’t the best things in life just happen with planning? The founding members were all in other groups and we just wanted to get local off-roaders together without the politics of an ‘official’ group meeting and just talk.

Well, that discussion turned into questions like “Why isn’t there a club in our area?” and “Can’t we do something to help our local community?” The answer was, “No, not officially in any of the groups we are currently in.” Then someone said, “We’re like the Island of Misfit Toys” and someone else added, “Yeah, like Misfit Jeepers.”

Was that an idea for a club? Yep!

How does the club work with all the groups?

When we started this group, it was thrown together quickly and we had no idea what this was going to entail or where we were heading with this. After many discussions, we decided that it would benefit us to have not only a closed group that anyone could join, but have a paid members only section as well. We decided on this for a few reasons.

First off, we wanted to allow everyone to interact and have the opportunity to meet up for whatever, wherever, whenever, and not be held to the confines of having the club involved every single time people wanted to have a get together. This IS what the closed group is for. Have at it! Keep your posts "family friendly" and don't come on here attacking any individual or group and your good. Remember, this is all about having fun.

Secondly, we recognized that people would want to represent what they are a part of and involved in, this is where the paid membership of Misfit Jeepers was born. We don't want just anyone and everyone broadcasting our name in possibly a bad name. Our hope is that if someone is serious enough to pay a small fee every year, they are serious enough to represent all of us in a positive way. This is also why we decided only paid members have access to any Misfit Jeepers swag or decals.

There will never be any negative push back from the club for people not become a paid member, we are NOT making a profit from this. We still encourage everyone to come enjoy the fun with us whenever they want. We are trying to price everything low enough so that people can afford anything the club puts out there to buy. If you never want to purchase anything from us, please still come join us at our events or any other meet ups we may have from time to time.

Lastly, any "profit" made from purchases goes directly back into Misfit Jeepers. We are going to use anything left over from purchases to help fund either charity events, Misfit Jeepers Member's Group events, or anything else we think of that can benefit the club and surrounding community.
