AIDS Prevention Education, Christian Discipleship, and Orphan Care in Africa. Over 200,000 thousand In 2011 we expanded the operation to Zimbabwe, Uganda.
In 2004 we started doing AIDS prevention education at two High Schools Just north of Richards Bay, South Africa. We have since expanded the operation to five other cities in two provinces of South Africa. In 2014 we expanded our operation to Zambia. Ministry activities:
Evangelism using the Jesus Film as part of a an AIDS Prevention Training program.
Discipleship:
Training of the youth to have a better understanding of the Bible and being a committed follower of Jesus. A quarter of a million youth have been impacted and exposed to the Gospel in the last twenty years through this program.
Orphan Sponsorship:
If you would like to sponsor an orphaned or at risk child in Uganda make a $40 donation at http://beaconint.org/idudi_school and you will be contacted to have a child allocated to you for ongoing support. This ensures that that child will conplete their K-12 education and have a chance to go further.
Micro Enterprise Development:
Fulfilling the old adage of teaching a man fish rather than giving him a fish. We are encouraging our African partners to start micro enterprise businesses, goat farming, chicken farming, fisheries raising fish, and starting and operating a thrift store.
