The 35+ CT Navigators made their second straight (and second ever) MSBL World Series playoff appearance. They went 3-3 in pool play and ran into a tough Minnoka Grays team in the first round and couldn’t contain their bats. The Grays went on to win three more playoff games and took the Cactus Division title. Always feels better when you lose to the eventual champs!

Bill Balcerzak (Southington Navigators) led the offense with a .407 batting average, 11 hits including 3 doubles and a triple. The stout defense was led by tremendous performances by Brian Lee (Ledyard Angels), Bryan Webster, (Bristol Mustangs) in the outfield and Mark Creamer (Southington Navigators), Enrique Alvarado (Collinsville RiverRats) and Shaun Wyman (Southington Navigators) in the infield.

The pitching staff was anchored by Creamer (1-0, 2.88 ERA, 12k in 15 IP) and Nelson Tirado (Southington Navigators) with a win and a save and a 4.50 ERA in 9.1 IP.

Congrats to all! Recruiting for next year’s team starts now! We will also be adding a 45+ division AZ World Series team. Please contact Shaun Wyman for more info and dates!
