You can get fat on "clean foods" or you can get shredded on "dirty" foods. But, saying that calories are the only thing that matter is a broad and misleading statement.



Let me put it this way so you can get my point...



If you care about weight loss alone, focus on calories. If you care about fat loss, focus on macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates and fats). And if you care about fat loss and health, focus on macros AND the nutritional value of food.



Because while calories alone are what determine whether we gain or lose weight, macros will determine where that weight comes from. And you shouldn't just care about body composition; You should also care about health and longevity. Therefore, you must take into account the nutritional value of food (vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, etc.).



So be wise with the foods you eat, not just for fat loss and building muscle. But also for health, longevity and long term commitment to your diet.

Happy Transformation Tuesday for some this may not be a drastic difference but for me it is.... From my 1st show in Dec 14' to the last show I did Nov 15' just shy of a 1 year difference and for someone that never lifted weights my mindset most definitely needed to be trained as well, for i did not know of the challenges I was about to endure .... I'm content with the progress I've made and even more content with myself now because I continue to push myself to grow even more no matter how many times I've fallen off track. I'm not where I want to be just yet but a lot - a lot more closer than I was 2 years ago or even yesterday! Look forward to my next stage package! :D one love! 💚💛❤ Special thanks to my coaches
