Our film has been selected to be part of the commission programme and is currently the only Ghanaian film being represented. I have had to keep this big news quiet for a couple of days.
But……..now I can scream with excitement.

I am very excited to announce that Anopheles Ghana’s infamous serial killer will be heading to Annecy in June.

The Underestimated Villain has been officially selected to compete at this years Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy in the Commission category. This is my second directorial film to be selected at this prestigious festival.

Not only is Annecy the most respected and biggest animation festival in the world but the film was selected from a total of 1,530 films from 64 countries. It is the only Ghanaian film competing in this category.

I'm so very proud of all involved in the film's production. Big thanks to my ‘amazing producer’ Dubois you are the real MVP.

It has been an honor to work on this show as an Assistant Director. This has been such a massive transition from directing short films to now helping to direct a tv series.
It has been an amazing journey working closely with the series director and learning so much. We have had an amazing team and the work produced has been nothing but outstanding.

The festival is organised by Tribeca & Youtube and pulls together 21 international film festivals, including Sundance, BFI and Toronto.
Many thanks to Annecy Animation Film Festival for presenting my film as part of their programme at this major festival.
