Hey, friends! I need your help! I’m organizing a back-to-school distribution in partnership with the Gateway Farmer’s Market. Our goal is to sponsor school supplies and necessities for 50 local kids AND provide at least 25 families with $15 each in “Market Cash,” which they would be able to use that day at the Farmer’s Market to take home fresh produce to their families. The vision: Kids get the stuff they need for school without financial burden for their families, their families get to take home some yummy fresh produce AND local farmers get at least $375 in community support.
As of today, we have community donations to sponsor 34 kids out of our 50 kids goal, and 6 families’ market cash. Purple Rose Wellness is sponsoring an additional 5, bringing us to 39/50. Trevon Williams and I will be sponsoring 10 families’ market cash as well, so we still need:
- Sponsorships at $12 each for 11 more kids
- At least $135 in Market Cash sponsorships for the remaining 9 families.

Purple Rose Wellness is hosting a back to school distribution on Saturday, April 24th in partnership with the Gateway Farmer's Market. We have enough supplies for 50 kids, and the first 10 families who come will get $15 in market cash to spend on fresh produce with the farm vendors at the market! Please spread the word and come out!

It's season, and we're gearing up for a School Supply Distribution event in partnership with the wonderful folks at ! This will be held on August 31st from 9am-11am.
We are collecting and assembling school supplies and personal hygiene items, with a goal of providing needed items to at least 50 kids!
We need your support! We are seeking sponsorships for the supplies as well as for "market cash" that families who bring their kids to the distribution event can use to purchase fresh, healthy produce from the farmers at the market! Please reach out to us via DM or via text at 240-305-1375 if you are interested in sponsoring a kid's supplies ($12) and/or sponsoring a family's market cash ($15).
