Growing up, my dad was the cook. He’d always have breakfast, lunch, and dinner ready for us.

I remember my aunties asking my dad to order chamorro sausage and I would never get tired of eating chamorro sausage (specifically the one my dad would make because it would be extra pika)

I’d like to think that’s he’s where I got my love for cooking from. I knew I’d want all his recipes from his riyenu and now the chamorro sausage so I can pass it on to my girl.

Håfa Adai! We are the Acfalle family.

We moved to San Antonio in June and realized how much we took for granted being able to make a quick run to our nearest Mom & Pop store (S/O to Buenas, IYKYK) to grab empanda, Mr. Brown and other pickled items that we were constantly cooking up batches of empanda & other items.

Fast forward today, we wanted to share that with all other families who just need a little bite to remind them of home.
