this page has been quiet for months now, but I’m still here! 🙋🏼‍♀️ we’ve been focusing all our attention towards our family, farm, and my husband’s new business so the sign business needed to take a back seat for a bit. I never stopped making handcrafted signs - just significantly decreased my production and sales efforts!

But, the holidays are definitely upon us and SGH is back with a limited selection of goodies for the holidays. The Etsy shop is back open with a limited selection of signs and updated stocking tags that you can now customize in so many ways!

And if you’re local to Middle Tennessee, our signs, stocking tags, and ornaments will be available this season at in Fairview, TN. So whether you live near or far, let us help you with you Christmas gifting this year! Personalized gifts are always an amazing option!

Hey friends, it’s been awhile hasn’t it?! Goodness, time flies with 3 kids, farm animals, and 2 side hustles! But it’s time for a little SGH update. . . When I started this sign business, I was at home with a 3 year old and a newborn and decided not to go back to my CPA job of nearly eight years. It was the best decision I ever made and starting the sign business gave me a creative outlet to claim as my own. Fast forward a couple years and hundreds of signs later, and our family purchased a 32 acre farm which had been a dream of ours for quite some time. I continued making and selling signs for the past 2 years of living here but over the past several months my passions and creative outlets have slowly evolved (and we also added a 3rd sweet kiddo to the fam last summer!). I started doing admin work and email design for a local business owned by some sweet friends of mine, my love of gardening and flowers started growing, and I’ve discovered that I’m becoming quite the animal lover as well! Sooo. . . . I made the decision after Christmas to close my Etsy shop and also pull my business from one of the two local shops that sold my signs. I do still plan to take custom orders from those who need anything and will continue to restock my best sellers Farm Fresh Vintage Finds and Creamery in Fairview, TN at least for now. But in the meantime, I’ll be continuing my creative endeavors through my side hustle doing email design and admin work and fingers crossed learning to monetize our vegetable and cut flower gardening passions. So if you’re into cute farm animals, pretty flowers, hay fields, and farm kiddos come on over to and see what we’re up to! And to everyone who has supported me for the past 4.5 years by buying signs for your home, trusting me with custom designs, and buying local from the shops, THANK YOU!! Where are my Franklin friends at?! A restock is headed to first thing tomorrow morning! It’s been too long since I’ve seen the lovely ladies that own this amazing little shop in Franklin (because maternity leave 😉) and I’m excited to restock their shelves with lots of hometown Franklin goodies as well as a few Fall designs and year-round goodies!

It’s here, it’s here! And it actually felt like Fall today in Tennessee instead of it being 90 degrees! 🙌🏻 bring on all the pumpkins, corn stalks, mums, sweaters and boots!! 🍂

Y’all I feel like this little sign right here is my anthem today. . . Anyone else with me? Trying to hustle with the sign making today and had the wrong lumber for trim delivered for the 3rd time now, messed up 5 signs and am now completely redoing them, and a 2.5 month old little cutie who refuses to nap. 🤷‍♀️ so I’m just gonna keep reminding myself that we all need grace every single day and keep chugging the iced coffee. 🤣

It’s starting to feel a bit like fall around here and I’m 100% here for it! I’m slowly getting back into the sign making groove and have opened my Etsy shop back up for orders! I will be releasing some new designs soon but in the meantime there are plenty of last fall’s designs available to choose from. And as always, custom orders are always welcome!

I love starting my week off with fresh flowers scattered throughout the house. Most of my cut flowers in the garden are gone for the summer so I picked up a few at the store this morning. Two bunches of $4 flowers filled this pitcher as well as four smaller bud vases that I’ve got scattered throughout the house. It’s just one simple thing, but makes me feel a lot better even if the rest of the house is scattered with kids toys and laundry. 😂 what’s something simple you enjoy doing to start your week off?

Wednesday’s work motivation - The amazing smell of a fall candle from Farm Fresh Candle Co.(Farm Fresh Vintage Finds and Creamery) and a yummy caramel pecan cold brew from Cuppa Sunshine Coffee and Tea. Now it’s time to get to work on some new designs for the fall release! Also, if you’re local to the Fairview, Dickson, Bon Aqua, Burns areas, be sure to check out these two local businesses! Both are run by some amazing women and are favorites of mine for sure!

Fifteen years today - 3 sweet kiddos, 4 different houses, one beautiful little farm, countless hours, blood, sweat and tears poured into every project we’ve ever tackled together (and goodness there’s been plenty of them!), and so, so many memories. No one else I’d rather do it all with than you! Love you babe! ❤️

One week ago today sweet baby boy you rushed into our world and have been charming all of our hearts ever since. 🥰 one week of loving you and soaking up every single snuggle we can. 😘

Life has been busy lately to say the least but I’m so incredibly grateful for a few days to soak up this beautiful view and spend time with my sweet family. Baby boy will be here in about two months so this time away for just the 4 of us has been so good. 🥰 I’ll be finishing up any and all sign orders next week and will be taking a break for awhile after that so if there’s anything you need, let me know within the next few days! So grateful for all of you!

Pretty sure this is my theme song these days! Love my jobs as wife, mama (to both little humans and farm animals ☺️), teacher, small business owner, personal assistant, and the list goes on but I need all the coffee and Jesus every. single. day!
