Orkney Cricket Club
WELCOME TO ORKNEY CRICKET Cricket in Orkney is played by two clubs, Stromness CC and Sanday CC.
In June of each year, these two teams compete for the Embers Trophy in a single match on the island of Sanday. Each season, players from the two clubs represent Orkney in a three-match Intercounty Series against Caithness and an Intercounty Match against Shetland. Players from Orkney also play in a combined Orkney and Caithness (OrCa) XI in the North of Scotland Cricket Association (NOSCA) Reserve

The Scotland men's side are in action all next week at the T20 World Cup in Australia. Playing West Indies first in Hobart, which at this time of the year will be far closer to Birsay than Bridgetown weather wise. Come on Scotland! Couple of early starts to watch them!
