The Ministry of Agriculture, Toledo Department continues to support gardeners within the Toledo District. Land and raised bed preparation for Active Gardeners is priority. Land being prepared for the planting of vegetables or root crops.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Toledo Department conducted a Field Exchange Visit for Cerro Youth Group from Punta Gorda Town. The Vegetable field belong to Mr. Herson Blandon of Eldridgeville. Mr Herson blandon welcomed the visit. The Youths were very excited about the visit. The activity was participatory and interactive.

Greetings Gardeners: As soon as good weather permits, The Ministry of Agriculture Department, Toledo will be conducting land preparation and constructing garden beds for active gardeners.

Mr Charles Nunez from Cerro Youth Group has received a donation of 4 bags of organic fertilizer to produce healthy vegetables.
