What’s the best penalty kick you’ve ever seen? Both professionally or within your team?

Everyone is different, there is not one method that is a for sure method that works perfectly every single penalty attempt. Understand yourself and how you handle pressure, practice and go through those game like situations so you can envision yourself succeeding, and understand that failure happens in life and you move on and learn from your mistakes! I’ve missed penalties on countless occasions, it’s absolutely defeating but the best thing you can do is learn from the failure and move forward!

Shoutout to for sending this gear out! It was a lot of fun to test out during this session and I’m definitely going to be incorporating it more in other sessions as well! It’s great for your backyard, taking it out to the field, whatever it may be! It allows you to get in more touches on the ball and also a variety of different touches as well! I’m a huge advocate of knocking the ball up against a wall, or a rebounder to get in the extra touches on the ball and this helps with that when you don’t have a wall around! Change up your routine and add new elements to keep your game constantly changing and developing!

LOL THAT LAST ONE😂 it went straight but I didn’t lean over it enough and got too under the ball, clearly. Head over to YouTube and check out my latest video! I go into depth on ways you can develop this important aspect of your game! Kicking the ball straight with power is something that takes years to develop, but with thought, effort, hard work, and consistency it can be built quickly! Don’t expect results in a week or even in a month, nothing comes that easily!! Expect to see results in 3-6 months of consistent hard work. Shooting IMO is a very personalized thing, there are general fundamentals that are the same but really it comes down to your comfortability when hitting the ball and being able to get in the reps to build those muscles. 👊🏼

Had a lot of fun making this video and I
hope you guys are able to take something away from it! It’s really about building that confidence in your stance, the angle you’re coming at the ball, and knowing in a split second which type of curve you want to put on the ball and also where to hit the ball on your foot. There are many factors that go into this type of shot but just make sure you’re getting in the reps and you’re thinking about the specifics when you’re training! If you shank a shot, like I do many times, quickly adjust what you did wrong and make it better on the next attempt!

I’ve said this many times before, the best way to practice building your shot is to find a wall and kick up against it for hours. Nothing can beat that training and the amount of reps.. IMO.

I wasn’t fully satisfied with the end product, I thought they looked alright but I wanted to embroider straight onto the apparel because I think it looks a lot cleaner. After failing countless times and ruining MANY hoodies I finally got closer to having a final product that I can say I’m really proud of. AGILITY is important across many sports, for a footballer it’s great in developing new muscle capabilities, it allows you to be a more dynamic athlete. Here are a couple drills I like to use to warm up and get my muscles and mental focus ready for a session!
After you complete a set, do 25 juggles. Repeat 4 times for one exercise and then move on to the next! 👊🏼
