About Michael

Michael TUCAK is an Independent Councillor (East Ward) at the Town of Cottesloe. His primary beliefs are in a human-centred approach to governance, community input, a high regard for creative solutions to complex problems, and constructive resolution of difference.

Michael was also an Independent Candidate in the 2018 Cottesloe (State) By-election: “Cottesloe electorate needs a local member whose primary goal is to represent and improve these communities, who is capable of doing so, and who has demonstrated this in their actions. I humbly believe I offer these things, and I ask for your vote - VOTE "1" TUCAK.”

Michael TUCAK was an Independent Candidate in the WA State election, on 11 March 2017, in the 'upper house' seat of "North Metropolitan". He campaigned for a 'creative, constructive and community' approach to government decision-making: more creative, adaptive thinking to the complex problems we face in todays’s world; more constructive debate to find the best solution; and involving the community in generating ideas or improving solutions or designs.

Michael is a creative industries lawyer based in Cottesloe who works to make a difference to our shared WA futures - making it better for all generations now, and those into the future.
