Hair shot years ago for dPT that has the portrait lighting I dig. Going in for a much-needed trim.
Putting out a new feature doc with this guy, Mark Brecke. A decade-long effort with an amazing ending we couldn’t have planned for. Our last film was heavy on the soul, whereas this one will lift you up from those depths. This portrait is from when things were just kicking off, and is one of my favorites.
This lovely framed edition of Opening a Rift that was at found a new home the end of last year. Thanks again to for helping bring my vision to reality. Check the gallery for more of my framed works on hand.
More color with from our most recent session. Dig the vintage lace dress she brought! Such lovely details.
Revisiting some of my favorite portraits from over the years, like this one of badass guitarist … I’ve always enjoyed working with musicians and the level of creativity they bring to the session.
Books are open for a few slots. Check my portfolio site for details.
Love the feelz evoked in this one with from earlier this year.
This encaustic piece sold a little bit ago to a big fan of my work in wax. Getting ready to take on a larger commission to help round out the collection.
I love using hair to creating texture. Thx !
Had a whirlwind tour of art and commerce in NYC this week that’s given me tonnes to think about. Reporting back later. Excited for all the new people I met and all the old ones i got to do some serious catching up with.
Step on in to the and check out the show today from 6-9pm. A number of great NY photographers (and SF, LA, Chi) are showing and present.
Getting personal tonight with at once again!

Feeling more of the vibes with as we all try to pierce the veil. A bit of dusty brush strokes transport this into a deeper take.
Printed, deckled, and mounted … next comes varnish and dropping it into the frame. Then, off to NYC where I’ll meet up with it again. Join us Dec 7th for the opening of the 2nd annual juried show and competition at from 6-9pm.
Blurring more reality with
No open studio for me today as life took a different path. But you can catch me in NYC in Dec for the APA show at Soho Photo Gallery (info in bio). Here’s a fresh take on some of the work I created with this year (blurred for IG/FB cuz they don’t compute art).
Shapes and shadows with
Enjoy all the things that go bump in the night!
Breathless with
Light and form: a treatise on the convergence of strength, beauty, and introspection with
I so enjoy playing with light and texture.
I like the shape and contrast in this shot of from our session this year. I don’t like scratching out parts that make it interesting and then having IG tell me that it’s still outside of guidelines.
Excited to hear this piece has been selected for the 2nd Annual Juried Exhibition. It will be showing at for a week in December. It’s nice to see this series making an impression.
Baller time at the new space last night, catching up with friends and celebrating new adventures and the kick off of the program in SF. Stop by this amazing new space if you didn’t get a chance last night.
Join me Friday evening at for the kick off of their new gallery space at 201 Jackson St in SF as part of the inaugural pop-ups. I’ll be showing this new piece “In This Skin” with as a 16x20 float framed with a hand deckled edge and varnish to show without glazing. Hope to see you there!
More painting on photos, feeling the vibez, and lettin’ ‘em come out.
Spooky season! Let’s go!
A fav from my shoot with … I love the cascade of light and shadow.
